To be fair, swerving and being drifted at is standard DFW driving behavior.  Not just because you drive a Bolt. 

I have the S60 T8, and I agree.  They are very quick, not track day fast. Certainly enough to get you to license separation speed.

There are multiple choices at $25K with under 30K miles in the DFW area. 

Same applies to the Polestar2, which in an infinitely better looking car in every way.

I say do it.  Also I could say get a S60/V60 Recharge or a S90.  Grow the number of doors, but have 80%+ of the power, and a PHEV bias for 30K less.

Having done the dance previously, importation is super cheap and easy.  Letter from Ford, and given the vintage, there are few hoops to jump through. Price is ND though, Vancouver is one of the few spots that you’d get away with being relatively rust free.
