Also every Tesla fan talks about the new Roadster, saying how it’s the fastest thing on earth like you can go out and buy one right now.
awesome! Maybe I could have Kimi on board with a bunch of Insta wannabee stars and really make it an event! LOL
I will admit that attending Monaco is a bucket list for me mainly for the entire spectacle of the event and its location. Not because it’d be a great race to watch.
All street circuits generally suck for racers (yes Monaco too) and in many cases for attendees.
I like drivetrains with either great simplicity or great (and well sorted) sophistication. Ones that try to think but aren’t very good at it tend to have weird corner cases.
I live in Montreal, and we have lots of snow. Being able to simply leave the snowbanks and then aggressively park back in there while I hear my neighbors try to spin out, or dig themselves out, is absolutely worth it. Snow tires are obligatory here, by the by.
Usually all in one vehicle - which ends up being a compromise for all uses.
This pisses me off so much. So many cars that got cancelled in the past few years had a notable flaw that was later fixed, either abroad, or in a subsequent SUV (eg. the HR-V got the smoother and more powerful 2.0l motor that the Honda fit was denied). The benefits of a sedan, hatchback, or wagon are inescapable.
Wish I could star this 1000x
Of the many reasons I probably won’t ever buy a Tesla, this is reason numero uno. Call me crazy, I just like being able to twist a knob to change the volume, or let the passenger change the volume or change the climate control. That’s one of the reasons the Hyunda/Kia EVs appeal to me- the “retro” design of actual…
Oh boy you just found my hill.
Touchscreens are bad.
If you think you need an SUV, you need a minivan.
Not only do 80% of truck owners never really need a truck, but that they will tell you they get one to help friends move or pull someone out of a ditch, and then cannot be found on moving day and drive right past everyone stuck in said ditch.
All things being equal, winter tires will perform better than all-season tires in wintry conditions.
Station wagons are better than SUV’s.
So FSD doesn’t work well on snowy streets? Believable. Telsa maybe should have done some more work on it before releasing it to the public? Yeah, for sure!
