Civic type R? The guy said he wanted something grown up looking - and not FWD. So why not pick something that fails on both counts....
I hit a small chunk of shredded tire in my Model S on the highway once, maybe 6"x6". No big deal, that’s what bumpers are for, worse case scenario I just replace the bumper, right? ...right?
I did something similar last fall - traded my fully-optioned Model S 85D for a Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, and couldn’t be happier with my decision.
The only Tesla I have been in is a friend’s Model 3. And he shows me how you have to open the glove box.
I’ll scream it until it happens. I like my Model 3, but the second Volvo makes a 300 mile EV, and the EA network improves by 30-40%, I’ll happily trade in the Model 3.
Aren’t Teslas supposed to be cheap to run because EVs don’t have that oily bit that starts dead dinosaurs on fire?
Here come the strangely defensive nerds. Popcorn at the ready.
I’m sure, in more than a couple of instances, it’s literally money laundering.
People have an irrational reaction to lane-splitting purely out of selfish, “well why should *that* person get to go to the front instead of waiting like the rest of us!?” sentiments
That is a separate regulation that I totally agree should be enforced, ditto for illegal truck lifts, removing emissions controls, etc. But filtering thru stopped traffic is significantly safer for motorcycles and reduces traffic.
Right, reading fail - this is for FILTERING through stopped traffic, which is great for everyone. I agree splitting is not a great idea (unless you live somewhere that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is used to it) but filtering saves lives and reduces traffic with no risk.
It’s a shame this article attracted so many illiterate people. I think you me and maybe two others actually read it.
If you hit another vehicle when you’re changing lanes, that’s still your fault, regardless of what kind of vehicle it is. Especially if it’s slow traffic, why the hell aren’t you checking to make sure it’s clear?
“I’m pretty sure lane filtering and lane splitting (below a certain speed) is legal in my state, but I’m not a fan.”
Counterpoint: read the actual article.
Responsible gun owner here, and what disgusts me are the gun nuts who actually act like they can’t wait for an excuse to use their gun on another human being. If the mere thought of using your firearm against another person doesn’t scare the living shit out of you and give you a creepy feeling, then owning a gun isn’t…
He looked like a total badass. The control of his weapon points to adequate training. Glad he’s armed and spraying our highways for justice.
Voice activated/controlled anything.
