Seeing as how they just convicted parents of a mass-shooting killer, maybe someone will use that precedent to assign liability to the company that develops this deadly technology.  I’m here for it.

Maybe he should tell his army of employees to stop screwing around with FSD and move forward with redesigning ALL THE CARS because most people don’t want to buy a 2024 that looks like a 2012 (unless it’s a G-wagen, apparently).

Are we really saying this looks *better*? The front end is meh, the back end is booty, and the wheels are straight trash. I’m not seeing what you’re seeing...

Having driven the wheels off of one of these in period (1997/1998) working at a dealership as a porter in Denver, I can assure you that this juice is not worth the squeeze.  These are trash and have always been trash - it’s not a Vanagon.

Man, that was subtle AF.  I wouldn’t have even noticed it if you didn’t put the GIF.  Nice.

Setting aside all the Elon nonsense...how about redesigning the cars?!?!  With the exception of the Cybertruck (which is new), the other cars have old-as-shit designs at this point and are sorely in need of MAJOR updates, not this garbage where they do a mid-cycle refresh and call it a new car (Model S and 3 front

And also the car is hideously ugly.  The Model Y is the worst in the whole lineup, including the Cybertruck (which is at least interesting).  Every car they make is sorely due for a full redesign, but I feel like Musk is going to keep popping these out until 2030 and beyond.

I absolutely agree with you. Can’t wait for that fad to die. I think cars in Fancy Primer Gray will drop more in value over time. The only thing worse than Fancy Primer Gray is *anything* matte. Seriously. People that spend $200k on a Matte Black G-Wagen should be forced to pay an additional road tax because their

Everything I read about this makes me feel like it’s a repeat of the DeLorean in the 80s. Terrible quality doomed the car, even though it was cool...and then there was the whole John/coke thing...which I suspect is similar to Elon’s arc.

Um, doesn’t it just drop right out like the ones on the cars?

Who else clicked the link because they had NO IDEA that Abercrombie & Fitch even existed before 1995? As a teen in the 90s, for me, that annoying brand just appeared out of nowhere.

Porsche 944 but with a turbocharged K24.

My dad drove one of these from the time of my birth (1979) through around 1987, when it was STOLEN from the park-n-ride (in La Costa) and stripped for parts before the shell was located in National City, CA.  His was olive green with the fake wood and a 4-speed.  It was truly a miserable car and was replaced with my

“professional scammers like banks” lol  I see what you did there.

For something “ubiquitous”, I can tell you I never saw one of these in the year I lived in France (1999-2000).  Guessing these were crashed/rusted and actually not that many survive.  This is literally the first time I knew a Renault 10 existed.

Wonder if Tesla will snuggle up to Toyota and try to get in on some of that sweet, sweet Hybrid technology to try and get sales up in the USA lol

Are people actually leaving these hideous covers on their Cybertrucks?  Has Tesla ever made a decent looking wheel cover?

Aren’t we done with “Frozen” or “matte” paint yet?  And black wheels on anything other than white/silver/yellow cars?

I’m guessing this one got poked in the butt by some other vehicle, and it was easier to locate a later model rear bumper cover/lights/hatch and that’s also when the exhaust was slapped on.  The respray covers up the heinous amounts of body filler to try and make it look right.  Also, this explains the door

Any 911. Literally perfection, and you can “clock” the guages on the older ones to make them point up at operating temp for racing.
