If that’s really the market for these, it’s just a matter of time before “reimagined” examples start showing up. Shit, RealTime Racing is probably already building some. Take a low-rust Integra from the sunbelt, add K-Series motor and trans, perfect the suspension and interior with newer, nicer pieces, and sell for

Fire Engine. On multiple occasions. It’s actually not bad to drive, you just have to plan ahead for maneuvers, and it definitely takes way longer to adjust speed (both up and down). Also, they are invisible to all other drivers.

Can you imagine how pissed you’d be if you’d been staying there on a nice vacation only to have this choad roll up in a bunch of SUVs and start taking a shit on your mood? FUCK.

My father-in-law sold his Spitfire that hadn’t moved in YEARS for $3k. NP

Why do you hate this so much but love BMW 3-series/Audi A4? I’m kinda “meh” on it, but I don’t see why this is such a bad idea/execution? This seems like a direct competitor to the 330i and A4 2.0T, no?

Yes.  See UBER Freight.  Are those drivers not employees either?

Is it weird that this car looks slightly better now? Perhaps this is because of Breaking Bad...or perhaps it’s because so many other bad designs have happened since? I’m looking at you Nissan, Toyota and Honda.

Nothing mattered to me except the Watch and iPhone 11 (standard).  I will probably get the phone (64GB) and the watch.  I don’t think I know a single person that will use Arcade, including my own kids.

I don’t think people stop to think how much money has been invested in rail and roads over the decades/centuries... I honestly can’t fathom it. It would certainly costs trillions to even come CLOSE to the amount of nodes we have in our current transportation grid.

Am I missing something?  This thing looks like futuristic trash and I don’t want any part of it.  Blech.

Some fundamental problems I see:

Phew!  Good thing I waited and saved my money so I could buy this!  Oh wait, no I didn’t and no I can’t.  Ever.

Yes.  Go sit in a BMW or MB from the 1980s and you’ll be immediately smacked by how intuitive and easy to use everything is.  This weird ultra-tech is something new, and hopefully it will go away by the time I can afford one.

Maybe it had terminal issues and this was just someone trying to do some fraud?

What killed it for me was the tire/wheel setup. Honestly, some legitimate BBS wheels with some decent lip on them and some Pirellis would make this car sing.

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is literally the one vehicle (yes, it’s an SUV...whatever) that fits into this description and manages to span ALL budget categories. It’s fine for rich and poors and relatively cheap to maintain (get one as new and as low mileage as possible)

I feel like none of this is relevant since the body isn’t stock (10" longer) and was built/designed by Dallara for this.  I mean, isn’t the whole point to do this with a stock car?  There are TONS of vehicles made for high speed and racing that go faster than 300 at the Salt Flats all the time.  Not sure why this

I’m not actually looking at this very moment, but I like to think about what the next car will be. This would be very interesting to me.

Interesting.  I regularly see one of these in black/black running around town and it always strikes me as proportionally very strange.  But to each their own.

SO many better choices out there for a 4-door Ford pickup.
