I *need* this car to replace my Volt. I love the fact that it’s really trying to stay true to form and just be an in-town kind of car. A perfect replacement for someone who has been slogging through traffic in a 2008 Civic for 150k miles.

So much 3rd Gen Nissan Quest in those lines...but better in all the right ways. Love these.
Why don’t they start trying to solve the problem? For instance, let the drivers set the rate! If they did that one thing, suddenly these people are independent again, right? For instance, if I want to let a passenger ride in my car for some preset amount, the two of us can decide if that’s a fair deal or not. …
I’m into it.
Almost as sketchy as the heat exchangers that blow air across the warm headers that wouldn’t possibly have developed any cracks over the years....
Ahem. Small Cheval is a great way to get one of those burgers for way less wait, if you’re willing to forego some customization and ambiance.
You didn’t mention that it’s actually better to watch it on TV because the view is tighter and you can see all the enhance strike zone info and whatnot. Just mute the broadcasters and listen to Spotify while you do chores around the house lol.
Double Triple all those numbers for the Cubs. I can literally buy a new flat screen TV for each game my family attends. So we only go when I have free tickets from work.
Pike is THE WORST COFFEE THEY BREW. Blonde or nothing.
You are forgetting some great features...locking your car from 1000 miles away when it’s in an aiport garage and you forgot. And starting/preconditioning your car from several train stops away one your way home from work...
Nope. Still looks ass.
Yes, as 2014 trucks. The SUVs came out in 2014 as 2015 models. Does this matter in some way? How do the interiors differ in noticeable ways? Or are you just talking about preference?
Good for you - I am glad you enjoy it. We roadtripped the fuck out of a 1999 Honda CR-V and a 2002 Mazda Protege5 before this, and I can assure you, this is better. Actually, when my kids were still in big car seats and strollers/cribs, we had to bring BOTH of those cars on one of our annual camping trips simply…
It’s not “enjoyable” like a sports car, but in terms of smoothness, visibility, surefootedness and comfort, it’s very enjoyable.
Exactly! We bought our 2012 Suburban in 2013 with 29k on it (as a livery vehicle for one year) for $33k. Totally worth it. And I am not in the 1%
Well, my 2012 Suburban was rated at 15/21 and we get 14 average. 18 on long trips at 75 mph. Those numbers just aren’t realistic, but OK...12 was an exaggeration.
I think both interiors are fine, but the Yukon isn’t “dated”. I mean, it came out in 2015 (GMT K2XX). Now, the interior on my 2012 Suburban is DATED. But that was originally released in 2007, so it was probably on the drawing board in 2005.
Have you driven one? More importantly, have you driven one on a road trip loaded with your family and all their shit?
Still sounds like an Explorer when you boot it though...CP. If you have the jack to buy one of these, you have the jack for 12 MPGs. Yukon XL Denali all day.
I understand the draw here...but the engine is just not juicy enough.
