I don’t want it...but that’s a Nice Price.

None of this matters when the drivers are robots.
Maybe an old car that looks good on the outside, but has secret problems lurking inside could be an “avocado” since you can buy one from the store that looks feels great and 2 days later when you want to make guac, it’s shit inside.
Car hobbies bleed money. $10k isn’t even that bad. Get on with it.
3rd Gear: manufacturers need to cut trim levels and also make cars more distinctive. I used to be able to tell an A4 from an A6 from 50 feet away... Now the A6 and A8 are almost indistinguishable, and the A4 looks like a Jetta. WTF. I drive a Gen 1 Volt and that thing is unmistakable. I never have a hard time…
$3800 is exactly what I paid for my 1987 Jetta GL in 1995 with 138k on the clock. This car is nicer looking inside and out and it’s older than me by a year! NICE PRICE for the Rad Woods.
This will be very interesting if she pulls a Miley Cyrus in 5 years and goes on a full bender, gets a bunch of tattoos and “grows up” suddenly. I’m here for it lol
Just think about cars from 2009. Most didn’t even have a USB port, and they *very* few had a way to connect to your phone. When you get in a car from 2009 it almost feels ancient. Think about this 10 years from now...it will only be worse because phones are more integrated into the car. I know that manufacturers…
Infotainment will be the thing that kills used cars 10-15 years from now. What happens when you go to buy a 2019 car in 2029 and it has no idea what to do with your iPhone XXS Max that probably won’t have any connectors at all? All this shit will be completely useless.
Saw it. Thought it was a Jetta.
Legroom in the rear with the driver’s seat set for a 6'2" human please. Also, realistic comfort on long drives.
Did anyone at the press event elaborate on what service will be like? For instance, will you take it to a Toyota dealer and then have to wait for BMW parts to arrive, and will the techs be up to speed with all the usual BMW fussy things?
so who did this first? this guy or Life OD?
Wow. So dumb. But I get it...whatever.
Having been to Hawaii years ago and seen the rampant body rot, I’d want COPIOUS pics of the frame before saying NP to this one....
If you can’t even bother to take it to a 15 minute self wash and spend $10 to make it look nice in photos...Auto-CP
I’m not saying they should’ve dropped in a 20-year old engine and called it a day. But they already had a block/crank design that’s super sturdy...why not focus on heads/turbo technology to make it a modern engine? I just don’t buy the statement that they didn’t want to “start from scratch”...
Rust belt resider, checking in.
Why do I keep hearing “develop from scratch” about this I-6? Toyota had the 2JZ which is STILL doing incredible duty making all kinds of power in drift/race/street cars all over the globe. And if the tech in that was outdated, why not just start with the proven platform and go from there? I just don’t get…
