Has anyone asked the question of what the environmental impact is of the recycling effort? I get that driving the cars around is in non-compliance with EPA regs...but have you ever seen what it takes to recycle a car? It’s NOT an environmentally friendly process. I’d wager that it’s probably less friendly than letting

Charge + Chili = WIN

I vote for Sonic.

What about if Tesla ends up providing the financing a la GMAC? They could potentially do whatever they want.

As a person who grew up racing very fast R/C cars, and now drives a Volt, I, for one can say that I’m looking forward to a future with more electric sports cars. Looking back at R/C for a minute, while the nitro cars were/are cool to play with, they always were a lot more finicky and took way more maintenance to keep

And *this* is why I road trip.

You just got a bad one with lots of cropped up issues. Sell for $1000 as-is and move on. Or give it away. Or scrap it. It’s done.

This is amazing and I love it.

2015 Cadillac ATS 2.0T. I heard all the internet hype. Wanted to love it. But the engine note and dashboard are so bad I honestly couldn’t get past it. Sure, it was decent in the turns, but it needs to be so much more than that. I’m sure the ATS-V solves some of those issues, but....

These prices are just silly. Sure, it’s a cool car, but $40k buys a LOT of cool shit these days. I mean, would someone seriously take this over $40k worth of something newer/faster/better? I get that there is purity happening here, but how about a minty clown shoe for this kind of cash? Or $40k worth of Cayman or

All the homage cars look like strange video game distortions of their former selves. The originals have a cleanliness of line and form that's sadly missing from the current BMW design studio. Paul Bracq knew what was going to stand the test of time, that's clear

True. I honestly never do this. I do all my homework and hone down my list of cars to just a few so I don’t waste my time, or theirs. Another good way to test cars is to get a Zipcar membership and drive several models...

You can still do this without auto shows. It’s called CarMax ;-)

Well yeah, because the internet. I feel zero reason to go to car shows now simply because there is almost nothing new/interesting/fresh because it all gets reported on the internet. If they want to start giving away free cars, maybe people will start coming to the show. Make it a raffle where all the cars are given

Hmmm...an interesting car for a Sunday drive, but something to actually drop $5k on? No thanks. CP. This is $5k now and $3k a year until you sell it to some other poor sap.

Reverse: Dump the Leaf as a Nissan and convert the entire Mitsubishi brand to electric. Keep the MiEV even though it sucks, but make it a real car. Make the Outlander into a battery CUV. Re-brand the Evo as a Nissan and slot it below the GT-R as a 4-door option for batshit fun.

I say Focus RS because 4-door hatchback usefulness PLUS hoonage.

I meant distinctive from the point of view that the new Volt looks almost exactly like a Cruze. Previously, you could easily tell a Volt from the rest of the Chevy lineup. Now, not so much. I agree that the Prius, Leaf and Insight are all hideous. The i3 manages to walk the line, but only just barely...it’s pretty

Bought mine used at a GMC/Buick dealer ;-)

Even in “charging” mode, the acceleration is basically the same because it’s still running on battery. The engine is just charging the battery to maintain a constant “minimum” state of charge.
