Wait. The Land Cruiser is available in America? I don’t think I’ve seena new one in 20 years.

I’ve always had a soft spot for AMXs and this one is especially nice. NP

I’ve never understood the fascination with leather. Especially when the textile industry has SO MANY good options. Cloth can certainly be made to last longer, wear better, look great, feel better, and have less environmental impact.

Would this have had more success with an Infiniti badge and revised front end? I think maybe.

I normally don’t advocate fart cans, but with this rear valance, the tips look teeny. Comptech?

All these people commenting on little run-ins with the kids in sight of the car are people who don’t have kids. Or the patience of Saint Teresa.

Sounds like you might have an inside line.........

Ha! I can see from your spelling and grammar issues, you’re certainly an internet force to be reckoned with! I’m glad to hear that you like the looks of the car. I don’t, and I fear that most people with six figures to drop on a luxury car probably won’t buy this one. Lexus has always been about making a sensible

Read it again. Above 70 mph, the SECOND electric motor engages.

Fair enough.

Agreed - your point is solid. I’m trying to picture the person that buys this. I mean, if I’ve got $100k burning a hole in my pocket and I want a GT car...I’m buying a Jag F-Type R. No hesitation on that.

But for people that want a GT car, there are so many classy options. Options that don’t have a terminator grill. And nice interiors.

Will be interesting to see the demographics of the buyers. It’s probably not good enough on the track, and it’s got no pedigree...but it’s too expensive to be a Corvette-fighter. Hmm...so this is for people that really like the Lexus dealership experience, but want to flaunt some money?

When is the last time you actually talked to people about reliability, or read a new survey? The Japanese cars are NOT special in that regard any longer. That ended in the aughts.

That is wrong. You can go full speed on no gas. 100 mph on electric.

This car is fantastic and I love it. As a current Volt owner, I don’t have a need for this in my life right now, but I love the option. And for people out there that just want a basic car for getting around town - check this out!! EVs are so much better to drive than you think....

Toyota forgot how to design cars 15 years ago. Lexus included. I haven’t liked much of the Japanese designs in the last decade at least...it’s like Japan and America switched places.

Honda is REALLY committing to this new front end, aren’t they? *puke*

What happens when you stick your middle finger at the screen because it isn’t doing ANYTHING you want it to do and you’re late for a meeting and the fucking NAV won’t respond to the address you want to find? Does it suddenly get polite and start doing what it’s told?!?!

Stop with the crazy talk. EVs are still an extremely small portion of the total number of cars out there. People who are buying them are buying them because they are good vehicles for many reasons. In fact, for around town errands and such, it is AWESOME to go for months without putting gas in my Volt. Also, for a
