There will need to be an app for that.

Well, if you’re driving the Fuchs-equipped 911 in your avatar...all is forgiven. ;-)
The rear hatch actually stopped you from buying a Volt? I’ll admit it’s not the car’s best feature, but it’s not all that bad once you’ve driven it for a day or so. Also, the split in the window does a great job of blocking the headlights of the car right behind you, which is good since so many people drive around…
Absolutely. Nissan needs an update or a cancellation.
Many of them are ready. But things like computer generated coupon mailers are still behind the times. And Volts need very little maintenance so the service departments don’t see them often. Also, many early adopters were ready to buy without any “selling” needed...so sales staff doesn't have the practice. Anyway,…
This car has such potential to be a huge winner. It’s unfortunate that gas is so cheap right now...but I think some people will buy it simply because driving electric is awesome. I like the range-extender in my Volt, but when I’m ready to make a change in 6-7 years, I’ll look at these as an option for sure.
As a Volt owner, I can say that yes, many sales and service folk are still getting up to speed...but it’s OK. They will get it figured out
I like the way you think. You should be able to find a 2013+ with reasonable miles for around $15k without trying hard. I LOVE mine. Goes well with my wife’s Suburban in the driveway...ha!
Oooooooh... didn’t know they canceled it.
I believe it’s good for another 3 miles of range (not a big deal, but something). You also get Hold mode (which holds the electric charge with the engine in case you need to have some EV capacity later). Bluetooth streaming audio also. And also an instant power display (kW use), which I actually love and use all the…
Please tell me why a person would buy this instead of the Mazda 2. Is it just cost, or is it something more than that?
Yes. But you can press the leaf button, then charging level, then 12 amps...it takes 2 seconds while you pull into your driveway. Also, it still charges from zero to full in 16 hours on 8 amps. 10 hours on 12 amps. If you get a 220v charger, none of this matters...
Get the 2013. You can initiate 12 amp charging in the menu with about 3 touches. And the 2013 gives you more battery capacity and a body color roof and hatch. I’ve had zero problems, but I’ve only had it since June. Bought it off lease with 33k on the clock. Love it. Best car I’ve owned. Not the fastest car I’ve owned…
I also would like to offer the idea that “skins” could be offered to allow for in-car personalization. And it would be nice to be able to toggle various bits of information on/off.
Except it’s NOT the same font. It’s a very similar sans serif font, but it’s not the same... old font was better.
I disagree with some of your statements. The Prius is *not* quiet, nor smooth to drive. The CVT is awful, the engine drones and throbs because it hates its job, and the suspension crashes and thumps over potholes and expansion joints. It also feels like it has minimal sound deadening because driving on the highway is…
I think you mean the EVO. And the M3. And the STI. And every other performance car that gets affordable after a handful of years. Fuckboys love them all.
