Used ones are. I bought a 2013 Volt with 33k miles for $17.5k

The only time I’ve seen less than 60 mpg in my Volt was on a 300 mile trip. And even then it dipped to 52 mpg. The additional battery capacity is a HUGE advantage.

The Volt is better in every possible metric. And it even fits your mold as being a “car for a person that’s interested in being very efficient instead of very sporty”. EVERY METRIC. Even the subjective ones.

is this a for real tattoo? is it from jail?

Not centered logo. WTF.

If you squint, almost everything about this car says AUDI. Which isn’t a bad thing, and also makes sense.

40% are from VW/Audi/Porsche. Ouch.

3/4 shot is the only good one so far. let’s hope it’s better in person.

I really hope that more millennials make the decision to have one parent stay home. It’s hard, I know...but it’s so much better. My wife stays home with our kids, and yes, we don’t have fancy things, but our kids are happy and healthy.

Hmm...not as bad I suppose. I just feel like this car misses the point. It needs more battery/motor and less engine, in my opinion. I love the fact that my Volt can exist on battery alone for substantial distances, and at comfortable speeds (75+ is no issue). I like the fact that this is another option. Options are

No, my Suburban has FAR worse plastics ;-)

14 miles is really, really hard to make a case for. My Volt gets about 42 miles in nice weather with a normal foot...but in the winter it dips way down. 14 miles in the A3 would probably be 8 miles with the heat on in Chicago. So, basically just buy a regular A3 and enjoy the Quattro and DSG.

Never been rear ended. But I also don’t feel like putting my kids in such a high risk situation (with today’s giant SUVs running around with drivers texting constantly).

Don’t care if it’s legal or not...no way my kids are going in the back of that. Even if they survive a rear-end crash, will they have legs below the knee anymore? I’d be SHOCKED if Elon puts his progeny back there.

Shit. Bitch Baskets. How have I NEVER heard this before? HA!

SO dusty in here! And the Funky Town story NEEDS to be a short film.

Everyone have a look at this generation’s Volkswagen Cabriolet.

And my Protege5. And my CR-V. And all cars in Illinois after 10 years.

So much equalization!!!
