I skimmed the whole thing. I like your thorough take on it, but can you HONESTLY imagine this in your driveway? Would you actually want to walk out and see this thing sitting there with its catfish face and droopy eyes with all the weird swoops and odd cutlines? It’s awful. At this price, Escalade me all day long.
Owning a 1987 Jetta and then working at a VW/Audi dealer in high school was enough to push me away from the brand for a long time....I was just liking it again, but now all this shite....I’m done hoping. There are too many other good options out there.

You can already power things with battery-filled cars. My Volt can act as a spare generator for DAYS with just the addition of a simple DC/AC inverter. I also use it for camping (Voltebago).

I can’t argue with your comments regarding the overall intent to make the car “one’s own”. I’m fine with mods. Been there done that...sold the S13 with the SR20DET before stance was a thing. But here’s where stance breaks down for me...when casual observers ALL agree that your car looks ridiculous (and broken), it IS…
