No DEMURO??!?!?! WTF?!?!?!
No DEMURO??!?!?! WTF?!?!?!
Totally. It’s SO good. Such a great companion to the interwebs...which have to be fast and loose because it’s IMMEDIATE.
Ouch. Your story feels so close to my reality it hurts.
R&T is amazing because they’ve figured it out...the mag doesn’t have any “time sensitive” stuff anymore. They do long form articles, and really get in the weeds on stuff. They leave the “press releases” to websites like Jalopnik. They are absolutely killing it, in my opinion. My subscription runs through 2019 and I’m…
Seems like these new hypercars need the traction control switches to be located where they can be turned by your thumb. I’ve seen multiple vids where the drivers are playing with the settings during the lap, but it seems unsafe when they have to remove their hand and avert their gaze...
Spot on, JimZ! Hopefully they’ll get it figured out quickly. And hopefully they’ll also get their transmission situations figured out, since I can’t imagine that bad press is helping.
Neutral: I think Alfa can be FCA’s premium brand here, but it has to be GREAT. Just look at how hard even Cadillac has to try to crack into the competition with BMW/MB/Audi. It’s nearly impossible. Alfa will have to be sexier, better driving, AND reliable. People are willing to drop their cars off and grab a loaner…
Good luck getting any girls to hop in that mom-van for “whatever you need to do.”
$25 THOUSAND? Don’t you mean $25 HUNDRED?
This isn’t a new concept, Doug. Chevy did this when the 2004 Malibu came out. They called the old one the “Malibu Classic” and sold it to rental companies so they could offer “a free upgrade to a Midsize today Mr. Schmoe”. I have a feeling those Rogues will end up there too.
I LOVE that Dave Coleman ran this project. I had huge respect for that guy when he was writing articles for car mags (Sport Compact I think?) and after he left to go to Mazda, I knew good things would happen. This is great.
The extra weight comes from a far stronger steel structure (to deal with rollovers and more aggressive crash testing) and all the airbags and tech that people want now (like Stow and Go seats and whatnot). Plus, as you can see, people expect new cars to also be faster even though they are heavier. So, it’s gained 1000…
1995 Plymouth Voyager = 3300 lbs. 2 Airbags. 1998 crash safety.
I like that option. Mazda 6 is a looker, that’s for sure. And I have a soft spot for Mazdas.
Are you honestly telling me that in 70 mph zones you drive exactly 70 mph? And your handle is Mopar4life and you’re on a car website? WTF. Stop being so judgy. I’m just stating that new cars with new technology offer slippery bodies, long gearing, and efficient motors to get amazing results without even resorting to…
