Yeah that’s what I mean... it’s just opportunistic.

It’s probably more that it sees humans as an opportunity for food and less that it enjoys the flavor. You might be correct that there’s nothing wrong with the cat though. Tragic.

Agreed. Also it hasn’t really been well maintained.

OMG can I star this article?

I think that New Yorkers would agree with you. Why is the subway getting ruined from a hard rain storm? Why is Metro North shutting down when a tree falls on the tracks? When severe wx hits elsewhere (like snow in the south) there’s no equipment or infrastructure. In NYC... the people who live there have the same

What game is it?

But it’s a cheese grater for a human.

These are the types of things that will ultimately muddy the waters of our future tech advancements. We’re trying to have a society here people!

You mean to tell me that a company that pandered to a trend with no competitive advantage isn’t a solid business model? It’s like... the Starbucks of motorcycles... but without the wherewithall to see themselves failing and correct it. STARBUCKS has a better business model than HARLEY DAVIDSON! Suck on that.

Your logic is sound but remember we’re talking about a car at the dawn of cars... and a performance one at that. I can’t fathom the small tank is fuel and the large tank is water... it just doesn’t make sense. There may have been some provision in place to cool the fuel for better atomization/evap? Alternatively,

Turns out, the health care for immigrants in this country isn’t the best... even if you’re the first lady?

Wait... but what car is this in?

bc faster production AND zero to sixty amirite?

I again agree with you. But if you ask yourself. “Self, what am I able to do to have any effect on this at all” In the grand scheme we have almost zero chance to save this individual by trying to be more welcoming as a community (and that’s to imply we aren’t welcoming or that the entire culture is generally bad,

You’re implying that this individual KNEW that his idea was stupid. I don’t think that’s the case, but ultimately neither of us can do much more than assume.

To be clear, I’m not “calling out the community” or even saying that this is the fault of the community. But I DO think this is a sound opportunity to reflect on

I so completely agree. Here’s the counterpoint though. In this country RIGHT NOW, there are people unwilling to speak to each other about things happening around them. So how do we break that cycle? I know that’s maybe more heavy duty than just as it relates to car culture but look... we’re ALL doing what we do for

The slewest of slewfoot. Total garbage. However... consider that Tom Wilson probably can’t be the reason yinz lose the series. But yeah... ugh.

Right... this logic isn’t wrong. But you’re missing the point. This person didn’t know this was stupid. HOW do we get him to the point where he’s aware enough to realize he’s going to die? I’m not trying to say with ANY authority that the car community is that stop gap, I’m simply ASKING if it COULD be in some

Yeah... it sucks. In aviation we call it error chain. Where was the mistake made that led to the next and to the next until the accident happens that has an ultimate result. For this guy... it may have been something well and before the forums or whatever... but it’s still worth reflection imo.

Nothing really. I’ll make IC pipes and exhausts and stuff... or weld up something on the mower etc. But welding a cage puts you in a lot of odd welding positions that I just don’t have the skills for. PLUS... it’s easier for me to go to a person who builds cages and just knows the physics and the regs.
