@CapitalJigga: If an email contains or relates to proprietary stuff we're required to put that in. We do it because we don't want to be fired, I personally hate inserting it as much as having to scroll through it on the receiving end.

@AmphetamineCrown: If I was sharing my internet for free to neighbors, I wouldn't want them jacking my entire connection that I'm paying for. He's just preventing his hospitality from being taken advantage of.

@Griff: Took me a while to figure out who 'Soak'ka was. Watching it I kept thinking "there's no soakka in the tv show, who the heck-ohhhhhh" and realized that they missed "Sock"ka

When I went in to see this movie, I was expecting the acting and storyline to be well done and the 'bending' cheesey as hell. I walked out with the exact opposite impression.

@iwuzbord: It was the first book - stopped after the water tribe battle. Azula was mentioned but sparingly.

Does this mean we're going to have an issue with food-farming in Farmville just like the gold-farming that went on in WoW with all those sweatshops and stuff?

@skt.smth: Wait, what? How many iPhone 4s did they sell the first week? How many 3Gs and previous brands still are being used? How many graphs has Giz posted regarding the number of iPhone users compared to Droid or others? They dominate completely (or at least did completly, but still dominate) the market for

@skt.smth: Smartphones are miniature PCs. You don't have some new fandangled piece of hardware from the future - it's a handheld PC with advanced voice capabilities.

@skt.smth: Instead of going online to random sites to play flash games, they have to be redeveloped to run on the iphone and sold through the app store - Apple gets a cut of that.

@crustyxpunk: Sorry, missed the half-sarcasm tags...bone can shatter, but not nearly as easily as the iphone

But wait, that's inaccurate. Bone doesn't shatter when you drop it...

@bitslammer: In the linked article he calls them yellow jackets, good eye

@Rusty Harding: Have you tried duplicating the situation people who are reporting these issues describe? From the sounds of it, it mostly only affects people who hold phones in their left hands (which no, holding in their right doesn't always work, I hear better with my left ear so I always use it for phones). If you

I'm sure someone else that remembers where has seen it, but I read that the 'huge drop' was because bars 1-4 covered such a low range, while the gap from 4-5 was pretty huge.

Because paying probably around 50 bucks for a thing of plastic makes more sense than buying a box of gallon ziploc bags for 5 bucks and obtaining the same result....

I'm completely in-the-know when it comes to benchmarking, but would it be valid to test load times for combinations of languages? I would imagine that kind of data on how well each browser manages its various renderers would be pretty useful as it matches closer to actual web viewing.

@xsnred: His charts here mean plenty. (At least the impression I got) was that the purpose was to show some benchmarks from each browser, not convert people. Do I care I'm using something ranked 3rd or last? No. Does that matter? No. It's unbiased benchmark information, not "ZOMG YOU GOTTA CHANGE NAO!!"

@Aquatrez: My mom logs more hours on Farmville a day on than I ever did as a kid with my N64. "You're wasting your time, you could spend that time doing better things, you've had enough for today"...

@snitch: The Earth was here 470 years ago...2000 years ago, and even longer than that...
