Is it just me, or does that yellow shape south of Africa look like a fish?

@SpudDude: Just think of it as a place where heat can enter or leave the body rather quickly. Also keep in mind that most of your body is water, and a lot of this water (blood) is constantly circulating around. Think of it as if you poured yourself a way-too-hot bath, add a small amount of cool water at one end of the

@cheeebs: Doesn't that just suppress your sense of being hot/cold? It doesn't make you warmer or colder for 2 weeks. Covering up the problem isn't the same as solving it - can also run into situations where your body is much hotter than you realize and run into health risks.

@pj_rage: Do you drop test your computer before sliding it beneath your desk?

@dfxdeimos: How about great amount of time surrounded by about 3 inches of foam on all sides when transported or stored?

@beatledud: "old phones glass would break fairly often"

Now all we need is a trap shooter loaded with iPhones and a shotgun...

@mattyvuvuBZZZZZ: Solar and wind energies are completely cost ineffective. It saves the environment, but costs a helluva lot more than fossil fuels.

@ps61318: Signs of someone probably embracing their inner-geek a little too hard...

I think that graph is missing 'repairing lego vehicles after large battles in which many of them suffered damage'

@Aklost: Definitely had a boat I'd take in the tub...took forever for the thing to dry out though. I'd be playing in my room, said boat would take battle 'damage' and I'd end up getting all wet

Had a physics teacher that treated us all to a 'romantic sunset' one class. Cut the lights and turned on a projector, in front of which was placed a large glass jar filled with water, which then lit up the board. He put some chemical in that started clouding up the water (I forget all the technical terms) but you

@webdevmike: You can't forget apple vs. microsoft wars either

@Skitch: It tracks up to 4 people. At the current 'bestbuy price (not the cheapest granted)' for xbox 360 controllers, it's already cheaper (those are still going for 50$ each). This is the ENTIRE motion control system. Move you have to buy the receiver and n number of controllers to go with it, total cost more than

@Kaiser-Machead: I'd go a little further and say these rough versions are already kicking the shit out of the Wiimote system, lag and all.

@kingtj: As far as moving it around, a commercialized version would probably be some sort of dongle with the camera and light that hooks into your computer/laptop via USB, and it would have a cord. Same sort of concept of wireless hubs for wireless desktop mice.

@MacPro66: As opposed to floating around in some database that any fat guy living in his mom's basement can get to? Oh wait...they already did...

This is only good for those willing to hock up the money for a 3D TV. To everyone else it's pretty much useless.

Did they mention what kind of viewing distance there is to ensure a crisp 3D effect? Not bashing the tech, it's pretty sweet, but usually there's a 'sweet spot' your eyes need to be in to really get a 3D look.
