This is how I feel. I know I mentioned it elsewhere on here, but I know them personally, and a few weeks ago their wedding wasn't in the news or anything. They have a lot of friends/family here in CA that won't be going to their wedding(obvs) so it's nice to be able to contribute in some way.

Having the account isn't expressly asking for it. You dont wanna donate? Dont.

They had a cool idea. The page is pretty much for friends/family. I really do not see the point of the attitude displayed in this article.

sounds about right, MsMenstruation

I think they're selfish and would rather burn money than send it to them, but if their friends and family and idiot strangers want to give away money, good for them/

THIS I can handle, what I can't handle are those smug poors bragging about their awesome weddings that they could afford. /sarcasm

Sigh. I can't believe I'm defending these assholes but there was a correction on at least one article about them that they did NOT ask strangers to fund their weddings. They asked family and friends, just like any other couple that registers for honeymoon stuff instead of a china pattern.

I actually would've been cool if she (and the Gos) hadn't addressed it at all. Just let that opinion stand.

Yeah that was my first impression, too. But also I don't really get how this is that much different from setting up a registry with stupid expensive shit on it or one of those things where instead of buying a gift you buy stuff for their honeymoon. It seems like the exact same thing. I get that asking strangers to

Alot of the time it's a recognition that one sentence is enough time, but if something related to that one sentence gets overturned on appeal, you have the other to fall back on. He's got seven outstanding charges in Cali; he's going to get a long sentence there and they probably aren't terribly concerned about eight

What is sad is that she feels like she has to apologize at all.

Aha. I'm a person with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. So, we actually studied the theory of relevancy in popular media and culture.

Why don't they set up scholarships for kids?

Madonna:

One day, hopefully, you will be older than 12, and if that day comes and if you are reminded of this, you will feel intense shame and embarrassment.

I really, honestly think it would take some pretty hefty willful deafness to popular culture in order to argue that Beyoncé is not relevant.

How.. else do you count relevancy?

Sorry, that was short form for "relevant to the modern culture, ie. interesting and engaging to those around her".

You're adorable.

I’m confused — Vulture said Serena was so bad it wasn’t getting a release …

Did Madonna help raise funds for Obama's campaign? Because, if she didn't, then I can tell her why she's not being invited to the White House.
