I mean, no they’re not, they’re just some of the most famous people in the world. Famous=/=brightest. There are thousands of scientists/geniuses working on climate change right now, they’re just not going to get as much attention.

As if any of them has watered a lawn ever.  DeCaprio has been famous since he was a teen.   Unless it was part of a movie i doubt he has ever used a garden hose to actually water a lawn or set up his sprinklers.  They literally have no concept of how much water it takes.  

While the actual scientists and people studying climate change probably just about make ends meet and definitely aren't flying on private jets!

I have been fortunate enough to fly on several private jets as a co-op student. I would fly on private jets in a heartbeat if I had the money.
