45 year old here. Shut up, kid.

Age 60 = taken out of the driver’s seat?

You think 60 is old? I could see you making the argument for 70+, though I’d still think it’s ridiculous to ban driving unconditionally just because of age and for no other reasons. 60 is barely retirement age.

Its like those videos of people on motorcycles or scooters crashing because they wont let go of the throttle and the bike just keeps going.

Thats a maintenance issue. If the owner can’t lock up the wheels, they need to fix their car.

I don’t understand this one. OK, so you hit the wrong pedal. There’s literally a 100 foot space between the point where car enters the view of the camera and the river ... plenty of time at that speed to “find the right pedal” and stop.

That pun was so bad it made me Saab.

That guy was Audi 5000...

Man the resale is gonna be so high when people realize each car is bespoke!

Who would have thought that the company that erected a makeshift production tent in the parking lot would cut corners to hit an arbitrary goal...shocking to say the least!

Shocker.

If that car had not had engine fire problems it would have been one of the best selling cars of all time. Everybody loved that car and when they put a V6 in it, it was stupid fast in its day. It was sleek and sexy and fun to drive and cheap.

I would be shocked if it is $5k over what the C7 is. I could understand a special edition Z06 or ZR1 being over $100k but the base will be around $66k give or take. GM is not stupid enough to price out their buyers.

Yup, yup and yup. I’ve been saying < $70K for the base MSRP.  I just hope they announce pricing on the 18th when they do the reveal.

My guess? The only thing that’s new is the engine placement.

With the current C7 base model starting at $55,900, I’m betting the C8 will start at $65K or so. They can’t move too far upmarket price wise for the base model. I also believe the interior materials will be better than the C7.

Car’s elasticity is around 62k bottom end..  Otherwise it won’t work....  With the volume they can succeed. Trying to go after people under 50 is their goal..  This way I think they will get kids in their 30's to bite the bullet on the “old man” “middle age guy” “bald dude with the top off vette guy” car they are

lol ..they can’t charge you anything for anything if you don’t buy ... otherwise , don’t say “yes” to a price ,or a monthly payment , till it meets your needs .

A couple of years ago I was looking for a CPO Honda Accord Coupe. I found the cars listed as CPO online and I would call the dealership to confirm accuracy of the listing and inventory on the lot. When I arrived at the dealership, the cars were actually “Certified Pre Owned Ready” if I was willing to pay an additional

Can a Dealer Charge Me an ‘Inspection Fee’ for a Certified Pre-Owned Car?
Easy answer:
Only if you are stupid enough to pay it!
