But you have to go through the hassle of buying the vehicle, then the more arduous process of returning the vehicle. And probably paying for the mileage you accrued. Plus other “fees,” I bet. And I guarantee you it’s not as easy to return the vehicle as it was to buy it!

No one is forcing those Uber, Lyft, or anyone else drivers to do that...

Even I know a person who got a big discount on a car through his company, then was surprised later that year or next to learn that that was considered income and taxed.  He didn’t brag much about it after that.
