Wow, Groupon must be pissed, this is an *amazing* brand / deal to have in the daily deal business!

Blackout restrictions are awful. MLB.tv is useless to home team fans, which I'd wager is the biggest slice of the fan base for almost any team. Hopefully these restrictions will ease up or go away altogether at some point.
This is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Any legitimate email message from a company has to contain an unsubscribe link, even if it's transactional.
What exactly is the difference between saying "the cloud" and "online"?
i've always wanted to do a full-summer baseball stadium road trip but realistically won't ever block out a whole month do watch baseball on the road. but back in 2005 i did a mini baseball road trip with my friend. leaving from new york, we hit 6 stadiums in 7 days: baltimore, dc (RFK at the time), cleveland,…
Agreed, it was shockingly expensive when I first ordered, but I wouldn't hesitate to order another when we eventually get our next car because I use it every day, multiple times a day. It's by far and away the most sturdy and conveniently placed mount I've ever used. Makes those suction-cup mounts look flimsy and…
The one I have in my Volvo S60 is a really snug fit on the dashboard, but I bought one for my father in law who drives an Altima, and the way it attaches to his console is pretty flimsy. They refunded my money, though, so if you're not 100% satisfied, you should call them up. They're really nice.
On the first pass, I though it was a joke, but then I watched it again, looks like that hurt!
Neat hack. I still think a permanent solution is best, I've been using a vehicle-specific dash-mount I got at proclipusa.com and it's amazing.
It's not a hassle, it's just annoying in the same way ads are annoying after you've seen them the third time.
Patrick Smith, aka "Ask the Pilot", did a nice piece on this:
Guys, it's enough already with the "follow us on twitter/facebook" posts.
So they've disabled iCloud device backups in this beta, huh? Or is it just me?
I agree, and the first three releases were so buggy I wouldn't dare install them on my primary iPhone, but since beta 4 they've been pretty solid, I'd say. In @nearlyryan's defense, he never said he was complaining on the app store, he's just wondering if anyone can help him figure out why his backups aren't working.
Silly reference to the derailed desktop calendaring high-five. [cl.ly]
You miss the point. :)
The fact that the request begins in "May I?" takes any dark-side sting out of this.

Depends on the app. I use Navigon on my iPhone, and while the live traffic might not work without a data signal, the rest of the app does.
I've heard that refrigerating your tomatoes will kill the texture, which might not matter much if you're going to make a sauce out of it, but I find it hard to believe that the flavor would be killed.
