100% agree, the BBB is a complete joke for both consumers and businesses. Don't waste your time.

Has anyone figured out a way to get a Google Apps account added to sync mail/contacts/calendars the same way it does in iOS? I tried setting it up with m.google.com as the server, and the full email address as the username, but it keeps failing.

It's crazy how much that vacuum looks like a gillette razor head

If you do prefer to download the upgrade multiple times, you will be able to so long as you sign into the Mac App Store with the same Apple ID on each machine. But downloading 37 GB of redundant data seems crazy to me, I'd opt to burn an install DVD (or two!) instead. I'll be faster for sure, unless you're on a crazy

Buy it on one, then follow these instructions to burn a bootable install DVD *before* you run the downloaded installer:

There's a preference somewhere in the System Preferences, probably under either trackpad or mouse.

Here's another one I posted as a comment on the "Should I upgrade" article that's probably more appropriate here — does Time Machine work if you have FileVault turned on?

Has anyone had any luck setting up a Google Apps account as type Exchange (instead of Gmail)? I'd love to get the Contacts, Calendars and Email working as well as they do in iOS, but using 'm.google.com' as the server and full email as username doesn't seem to work.

Does file vault play nicely with time machine?

I have a text file containing small bits of text that I want to extract. I have a regular expression that will successfully FIND them in bbedit/textwrangler, but can't figure out a way to extract them (one per line) to a new document. Help?

I'd argue that this is an indication of popularity among people who know how to write extensions and userscripts, not necessarily among all users. Over three quarters of Facebook's members are male, which I also think indicates it's not appealing to a broad audience yet.

I like [www.updown.com] , it is a great simulator, plus there's a (small) chance you can win real money if your portfolio performs well.

I realize that this post is about how to make the most of G+ through add-ons and browser extensions (which does not bode well for G+), but it's not a good sign that people are wondering "how to use" Google+", or where it fits into their social lives. I find myself in that category.

For major highways, their traffic was usually accurate, but I found it to be hugely inaccurate for smaller streets. I don't know how they were getting their data, though I can only assume it was from tracking average speed of mobile devices using their maps application ... and it seemed like they were not doing a

Just tried that, doesn't seem to work in Safari.

Is there an easier way to share Google Reader items over Google+ than to copy-paste the link into the share box? I checked the send-to "services" they offer, but oddly, Google+ is not there.

... or you could just pony up the $5 for the first month of unlimited access. I assume if you downgrade / cancel your unlimited subscription, your account will still work, but with the "free" level of access.

I feel the same way. I think redesigns are more about resource efficiency than user experience. I get the sense that they're trying to make the UI more like a Twitteresque platform, whether or not the readers like it.
