I think the dimpling thing only applies if you use pre-shaped patties or if you buy ground beef (in which case you have to question how serious you are in the first place)

Check out Gina trapani's crowdsourced list

You can handle the magazine subscriptions easily enough by registering and address change with the postal service. You'll also get a moving kit that often contains some sweet coupons for places like Lowe's. More address changes: bank, credit cards, etc.

I may be wrong here, but I'm willing to bet that LastPass files are centralized to some degree, so if you can get access to one, you can get access to many — isn't that why they're encouraging everyone to change their password?

This is one of those cases where, in my opinion, it just doesn't pay to skimp. 1Password is top-notch, updated very often, and super secure — for $40. I'd be willing to bet many people have spent more than that in a single night just on beer. You'd probably incur far more damage than $40 if every one of your

Putting together any furniture with a drill is so much faster. A drill is certainly more expensive, but if you don't already have one, you'll get so much more use out of it than a ratcheting hex key set.

What do these things smell like?

I've tried this, among a few other things, to try to help my mom's friends who need reading glasses, but it only affects the text in some places. It'd be nice if there was a way to truly increase the size of everything — home screen apps, the little "Back" button in the top left corner, the tabs... My vision is just

I realize "free" is the best price, but if you're using all of the free space, maybe you should consider just *paying* for some space. Why do people have no problem dropping $5-10 on lunch or a couple of beers, but hesitate to spend the same amount for a month of service they use in their daily lives?

When is combing your hair really necessary? Of course it's not *always* necessary, but it certainly adds polish, and takes all of 10 seconds at the most.

The tip lifehacker shared a while back about using Ikea bags as makeshift boxes for non-fragile items during a move is great. Just be careful with your back when you lift one of those suckers, I herniated a disc in my neck that way :-\

This is one of my top 5 apps. I listen to NPR with TuneIn instead of the native app because it handles the stream so much better.

Looks neat! Do bloggers actually have a paper folder titled "blog" though? :)

1) Who's selling it (for example, if TapBots, no further questions your honour, I'll buy it), and what else do they sell if I've never heard of them

The two things preventing me from mounting a wireless webcam I already have outside are getting power to it and protecting it from the elements.

Agreed!

You are the product being sold when you watch TV or listen to radio, too. Not a big deal.

This is standard for any "get paid to take surveys" deal you'll find on the web. Many of them (though not all) take 5-7 business days to credit because the notice of completion comes in the form of a weekly batch file like a CSV which is transmitted.

But sometimes 30 days is too long :)
