Yeah, that u-turn was stupid as hell and the valet was definitely at fault, but I wouldn’t call this a joyride at all
Yeah, that u-turn was stupid as hell and the valet was definitely at fault, but I wouldn’t call this a joyride at all
I used to help the valets at a hotel I worked at, there’s plenty of reasons that they would’ve moved a parked car that weren’t taking a joy ride. Sometimes a car would get temporarily parked in an overflow spot, either street parked or in a smaller lot rather than the usual parking garage, while they waited for a…
Yeah that was NOT a joyride by any description. Other than a couple of revs, it was a “normal” little cruise. Now the apparent no look u turn is massively stupid no doubt. Now I don’t know if he was out finding a parking spot in one of their “lots” or if he in fact took the ride after it was valet parked and drove…
Yeah, that didn’t exactly look like a joyride, he was probably just looking for a place to park it. He goosed it a tiny bit and barely got over 40 mph. What he did do was flip a U from the outside lane without looking behind him, which wasn’t a brilliant move.
But the Tweet Man said his cars werent even gonna have steering wheels in the near future of two years ago!
is that recall coming with a refund?
I don’t own a Tesla, so I have no dog in this fight, other than being concerned for the safety of all drivers. FSD should be recalled, period, and owners should receive a refund for a product that was never delivered. Let Tesla beta test FSD with stricter controls, rather than continuing to let it run loose in the…
That’s fine until your beta vehicle crashes into mine. Or hits a pedestrian.
Well I don’t want to be on the road with your beta test.
I don’t know how it is in Connecticut, but my least favorite stretch of I-95 is between DC and Fredericksburg. It’s brutal.
Is anyone using the microwave? I need some popcorn.
The question I have is that how on earth could she prove she contracted it while in the insured vehicle, and nowhere else?
In the state which is home to Jack Daniels?
But I was assured in April of 2019 that I was fundamentally insane not to buy a Tesla right then because I could be earning money by sending my Tesla out to taxi people around autonomously while I’m at work a few months after purchase.
Risking his life and the car to provide content...that about sums up what’s wrong with influencers.
The other factor is the casual way in which Musk and many others talk about how much better machines are at driving than humans, which of course is also complete rubbish. It’s one of those classic logical fallacies - because sensors of various kinds are more accurate than humans in judging distance, for example, then…
I’ve said this before here & I’ll say it again, using even ordinary cruise control in the snow is a potentially lethal mistake.
People who’ve never driven in snow.
If only the bubble had lasted a little longer… we may have gotten a W12 and a V12 from Mazda.
No.
