Whenever Mutt isn’t on screen everyone should be asking “Where’s Mutt?”

Glad to see the music director will be maintaining their trademark lack of subtlety and “most obvious choice” approach for season 2 (oh my God, when they literally set that creepy underground orgy to “White Rabbit”). Other than that can’t wait for one of the best shows on TV to return.
I think its pretty nuanced, either I’d look at it charitably and call it self-examination or less charitably and call it trying to have their cake and eat it too, like trying to seem “woke” to deflect. I can’t speak to individual motivations.
Yeah, while the onus for individual situations like this is of course still on the perpetrator these replies are indicative that we as a society need more prevalent and nuanced education for young men about consent. Although there are your Weinsteins and Tobacks and the like who get off on the fear and are incurable…
This is another one of these Louie situations where their material’s self awareness about toxic masculinity and everything makes this simultaneously really surprising and totally inevitable.
Yeah that’s a lot of what made this episode not work very well for me was how tonally lumpy it was. Going from what was basically a Tales from the Crypt segment to a really tonally inconsistent middle segment to the ending really didn’t play
Oh yeah I could definitely see that. It seems like with how minimal it was if the main thrust of the episode didn’t grab you there’s not much else to glean from it, whereas other episodes you may not be into have more peripheral qualities that you could still like. Generally I prefer more conceptually complex episodes…
Yeah I really enjoy seeing how everybody assesses what they like and don’t like about this show. With this season there seems like some degree of consensus about most episodes (people generally like USS Callister and Hang the DJ, think Arkangel, Black Museum and Crocodile are varying degrees or mediocre) but Metalhead…
I’m curious to see how people who have seen the whole series would rank everything. I’d probably say...
Also I’d probably say that Men Against Fire is probably worse than Playtest
I mean I really enjoyed a lot of things about Playtest. The performances were wall-to-wall stellar and the way it handled the protagonist’s anxiety about Alzheimer’s was sincerely heartbreaking but the pacing issues and glib ending lost a lot of points in my book. I really think The Waldo Moment has been the only…
Probably my least favorite of the season but still definitely better than “Playtest” or “The Waldo Moment”
Well this one was pretty forgettable but decent overall, I’m probably looking at it through a harsher lens following the two best episodes of the season. Overall pretty solid and season and nothing terrible. I’m pretty convinced right now that the only truly bad episode of Black Mirror so far has been “The Waldo…
Huh I couldn’t figure out how to transfer my account
