I was watching a repeat of the Rob Lowe/Spice Girls episode of SNL when the news of Princess Diana's death broke.

It would've been funny if not for the fact that this website was trying to force Good Charlotte and Blink 182 on us not too long ago.

I mean, I can't defend it critically, but I've definitely had more than my fair share of fun with those films. A big nostalgic soft-spot for me, I will admit.

In all fairness, Jason Takes Manhattan is one of, if not the worst of the entire Friday the 13th series.

I'm kind of going into it expecting a Psycho II-type experience. Not a patch on the original, but still damn good in its own right. I may be off-base with that, but we shall see.

But but but! The Dream Warriors is the best one in the series next to the original, and so much fun!

Friday night: Not much. Fighting a rough cold, fell asleep on the couch watching Tales from the Darkside (season two). Can't remember much about the episodes I watched.

As a recovering nu-holic, I can assure you you're not missing much with Spineshank's "comeback" album. Just really poorly produced and uninspired. I'd give Silent Civilian another listen before putting that clunker on again.
