I prefer Spider-Man 2 to the first (and all other Spider-Men) but I definitely know what you mean.

Started reading John Darnielle's Universal Harvester. About a quarter of the way through and am finding it really engrossing. His writing seems to have improved since WIWIV.
"Turns out it was just written wrong."
I'm not sure that your pun cop landed.
A lot of these puns are special, but I think yours is the specialist.

Wow, what a string of puns. Paper Tiger is showing himself to be quite the firestarter.
Honestly, I thought this was gonna be another one of those remakes like Poltergeist that gets forgotten about the same weekend it's released.
Word has it that Sly's relationship with his producer was very rocky.
Yeah, I don't know what the writer of this article was going on about. Their output for the last ten years has been quite well produced.
It's like we're looking down on Wayne's basement
Only that's not Wayne's basement

I watched Predator 2 last night. Perfect Saturday night fun!
I'd rather someone just pick up where John Carpenter left off and make Escape From Earth with Russell as Plissken.
Pretty sure Carpenter has little to no desire to keep directing at this point. He has been pretty blunt in the past in regards to enjoying the paychecks he gets from his films being remade.
I know, RIGHT?! Like, hello, we're all still here waiting for another Hoobastank album.
It's like it's coming out of the ass, OF THE ASS!
