Yeah, he also injected a bit of that into the musical number. Like, dude? Seriously? We all might actually DIE and you’re both-sides-ing like an NYT editorial? Fuck off

I loathed that line in the monologue. It felt so tone deaf white-dudely.
I thought it was a bad take. As a straight, white, cis, middle class man, no things won’t change much for me. But for my friends and loved ones that aren’t like me? Yes, there is a difference.
I think that that premise was really just to set up the segue into the sleepover bit rather than an actual political point, but it was still a dumb thing to say.
I usually love Mulaney’s stand-up, but in his monologue he said that whether you vote for Trump or Biden, it makes no difference and nothing will change. Basically, making the both sides are equally bad argument that discourages voting.
I can think of few worse fates than an eternity of compulsory volleyball and pre-dawn jogs in Albany.
He also seemed a bit more self aware and more inclined to calling out the garbage of the cult than Mark was.
I already like “seduced” better after one episode. “The Vow”, as many have said, is insufferably long and unfocused.
I thought it screamed “Mark Vincente’s effort to get his documentary career back online” . The Vow could have easily been condensed into 5 episodes without losing much. The one thing I found odd was in the 1st or 2nd ep there is mention of Rainiere curing people of very severe Tourette’s I kept assuming it would be…
Don’t care. At least the reboot told jokes.
“That’s because you libtards hate anything that isn’t Hollyweird!”
Why do you hate America?
I know that this will be a controversial opinion, but I saw a few episodes and didn’t think that the show was good.
To Infinityyy and...nevermind.
It would be great if Americans stopped glorifying some of the worst people in the country.
It’s not a bad impression–it’s got a bit of Fire Marshall Bill in there that somehow catches Biden’s wiry old-man energy. But I’m not happy that they seem to be taking the ‘Biden is senile’ route.
No mention of the Drew Barrymore talk show bit? The only sketch that I thought consistently nailed it. But it’s helped that I’ve actually caught (and watched with jaw dropped amazement) a number of episodes so got all the references--my friend didn’t even know she had a talk show and was pretty much lost. I was…
This could only happen because Netflix removed the D&D episode that stopped Neil falling down the dark path.
Ah snap, you beat me too it and I missed this! Oh well, at least I now have a smoking dog gif in my back pocket..
So, Stephen Tyler’s everyday look, then.
