Maybe the car just crashed on its own?
Meh, it just looked like a dance routine to me; not like people that were actually fighting.
I burned through book 10 and by the end I realized that nothing had changed. It was easy to stop at that point.
Out of this World: great game or greatest game?
It was picked up by WB fairly late in its development, so I think it still gets to be proper indie.
Assuming you mean $100, I'll say yes-as long as it was bought during or after 2008.
I clicked on this because I saw Aceveda. I'll leave now.
Vanquish is a fine game indeed. I keep reaching for the knee rockets button in other games, but alas…

To me the normal big battles are the strength of the series. Being able to seamlessly weave all your powers together while hopping around a battlefield frequently produces those 'emergent' moments of awesomeness that most open world games aspire to and fail at.
I read a preview of SR3 that made it sound like all the main story missions in the game would be instanced and not take place in the open game world. If the missions suddenly have to stand up on their own without random open world craziness then they have a lot of work to do!

I think the song is in one of the secret rooms. I never came across it either.
Speaking of co-op, it's pretty amazing that the PC-PS3 co-op works perfectly (or did before PSN died).
It's probably my favorite game since Shadow of the Colossus. I don't think you'd regret buying it at full price! Although you're right, Steam will probably have it for 5$ in a few months.
I can't think of a better game ending off the top of my head. There's even some nice foreshadowing leading up to it.
I had a bunch of these as well before I got a Game Boy. I haven't thought about these games in years and playing them on the site makes me realize that kids sure do like stupid shit.
Those two games were putting me off buying this as well. I saw that even Tom Chick, champion of Empire/Napoleon hatred, gave this game an A. I figure it must have something going for it.
If they were set on trying to emulate the console style of play I wish they had chosen a system with some kind of analog stick/nub. Anyone know if you can use the analog stick on the 3DS with this game?
