We have 3 Simple Touches and we love them. The bezel and finish make it very easy to hold and the option of tapping the screen or the bezel buttons to turn pages is great for people who shift a lot when reading...like me. Also, epub compatibility which the Kindle lacks.

If the SNES emulator is iCade aware, that would definitely be a reason to jailbreak.
We have an iCade and I was lucky enough to get iMAME when it hit the app store. I used iExplorer to move the ROMs into iMAME and it works beautifully and no jailbreak was required.
I've jailbroken my iPhones since the first generation but I can't find a reason to jailbreak the iPad. I mostly install tweaks and am not interested in theming.

That would be the ideal data plan. I spend way too much for data. Three phones, two business, home and two iPads. That's 8 data plans a month. I'd be much happier if they were all priced like an electric meter.
