Also currently pregnant. I can smell all the things, but not electricity. And I am incredibly thankful right now that I haven’t been able to smell anything out of my left nostril for the past 10 years. I cannot imagine what torture I’d be in if this madness was doubled.

non-causal or non-casual? Did you intend to change the spelling of what he said to better tell your story or was the quote a typo?

Great book. Listened to it as an audiobook and Leah herself does the narration. She interjects so much of her own personality directly into her reading - I highly recommend it if you’re thinking about picking it up.

Here’s video of her doing it in a coffee shop in July!

This happened at the Michael’s in Lincoln Park in Chicago. Apparently this rant went on for 45 minutes before the police showed up after multiple calls to escort the woman out. It happened because a black cashier suggested that the woman buy a larger reusable bag to better take her purchases home (Chicago has banned

Can Twitter as a company just tweak its algorithm so that people really have to go looking for Trump’s tweets instead of them showing up in feeds so easily? Obviously, they can’t (and shouldn’t) shut him down, but maybe they can slow his noxious spread.

Like the Periods for Pence movement, but maybe we call this one Aunt Flow for Abbott?

I miscarried at home when I was 6 weeks pregnant. I did so by choice because I knew the situation was unsalvageable and I didn’t want the added burdens of stress from being in a hospital environment to hear what I already knew or medical bills to make the situation worse.

I used fdtihf@aol.com. It stands for “fuck donald trump in his face.” Juvenile, yes, but it made me feel better. Also, the aol.com address made it feel more real, like it actually came from one of his voters.

Damn it all. Hummus is one of the few foods that is approved by my all-day “morning” sickness. Ugh. Guess which food my doctor is going to add to my banned list tomorrow?

I am right there with you on the morning sickness crap. I went in armed with a smoothie in hand and my pockets stuffed full of ginger candy and saltines. Very fortunately for me, there was no line when I showed up an hour and a half into the day’s voting, but my head was spinning very badly while I was bent over my

“You are proof that cousins shouldn’t bread” is my new go-to insult. Thank you so much for this.

I love the shape and flavors of EOS, but out of the three different types I’ve been gifted (I’ve never bought one for myself), they all make my lips burn in a chemically kind of way and start to dry out right away. It’s so disappointing.

I very much respect whatever choices women make regarding staying childless, having one kid, or having 20 kids (please, don’t have 20 kids). As I’m launching into week 7 of my first pregnancy, this nausea really has me rethinking some things...

I worked as a consultant at O’Hare for about a year and a half and over that time made friends with the fire chief out there. My friend and I talked him into letting us go out to the fire fighter training pad on site and he had one of his guys drive the truck while we got to man the hose on this massive tank-like

Agreed. Definitely not appropriation, just her seriously risking injury to herself and being a clumsy excuse for a ballerina in a shoot that does not recommend the art form to anyone.

I am so excited to vote for this woman in less than 2 weeks. I am happy to dedicate my vote to any here who request inclusion as they don’t live in this marvelous woman’s district.

I’ve scrolled down way too far in the comments and no one has called this out, so I feel an obligation to do so. I am so sorry to be that person.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law had their schooling paid for by their (respective) parents and their condo paid for by her husband’s parents. And she pulls down a 6 figure optometrist’s salary. They way they live and spend money is so foreign to me.
