I used to work for a company where we outfitted F-550's to be over 19k pounds.

I had to tow my BMW X5 behind my F-150. With trailer, X5, fuel, tools and me I was 300 lbs under the payload capacity and 300 lbs under the tow capacity.

I’m not going to do it again.  Just because it was legal doesn’t mean it was a good idea in retrospect.
