If you’re not paying to store or insure an old car, it’s much cheaper. Also, things in rural areas tend to be cheaper, including old cars. Not so much any more, with the internet.
Case in point: on my dad’s property (off the top of my head) are - RX3 SP, ‘41 Ford F1, 37(?) Ford factory stock flatbed, 2 late 30's truck…
I’m sure they are nice cars, but BMW has simply dropped off my radar. When I’m thinking about what would be nice to have, they aren’t on the list.
