I’ve been in a school bus, and a I daily drive a 3500 Ram 4x4 with a Cummins. There is a mile of difference. My teeth do not get rattled out, because I live in an area with decent roads. When I’m in LA or SF, it’s not awesome. However, it’s much better than my ‘97 3/4 ton Ram Cummins.
I’d vote for a moldy potato if it wins the Democratic primary. There’s no other sane choice.
4th Gear: The marketing angle makes sense, but so does the fact that EVs don’t make cool noises. Cool noises are a huge part of what happens in movies. I’m willing to bet that many Hollywood folks are not interested in getting EVs onscreen in “hero” roles if it involves driving fast.
Does the younger generation of Chinese actually care about IP? Do they only care about IP when it’s something they like that gets copied? Do they only care about IP if its a foreign company ripping off something they care about?
I think either of them is a good value, and has a performance envelope much larger than 99.99% of the drivers and 100% of the public roads.
If I was in that market, I’d be really tempted to get a 50k C7, rather than wait more than a year for a “60k” C8 (which will probably be closer to 80 than 60).
Lift it and go the Gambler 500?
If I could find the right transmission, I’d drop the engine into my MGB GT.
You are in the same minority as guys who drive trucks because they haul things. I’m guessing that the vast majority of these will never see dirt, except at the gravel parking lot of the fruit stand.
A small displacement V6 turning high RPM under massive load and strain would be a better engine than a low revving, under-stresses straight six?
There’s a reason FCA doesn’t offer the edodiesel in the big trucks.
Mostly I was being a smartass, but I just can’t get into his music. I’ve hear all the songs way too many times.
What the fuck?
I didn’t say he was poor.
James Taylor has talent and somewhat boring songs.
I hate putting greasy shit on my skin.
Isn’t the EdoDiesel the 1/2 truck engine?
There are only two places these cars need to be; the garage and the racetrack. That’s it.
This is why an incredibly high percentage of Ram trucks (3/4 ton and up) are sold with the diesel, rather than the gas motor.
Neutral:
What a whiny douche.
