Tesla is not a carmaker in my eyes. It is a successful tech startup which has learned how to manufacture cars based on their technological ideas.

Listen to Dave Ramsey a bit. Sure, you can pick apart his advice and find examples where his advice may not be the best. What you will find when you listen to him for awhile is that people call over-and-over who have financed shitty cars (like horrible Fiat/Chrysler products) that have worn out or broken down long

Dave Ramsey is an idiot. cars are in that weird valley where they cost a lot to buy (probably anyone’s second biggest purchase after their house) but don’t gain value. And they’re machines, so they wear out. Telling people they shouldn’t buy a new car unless they’re worth millions and can pay cash is just some

I know the general consensus here seems to be to disagree with you, but I think you’re raising a very valid question. Essentially what we are going to see here, in a lot of industries, will be companies drastically reducing real estate and operations expenses and transferring those to employees.

The math says that if you take a 10-minute poop break every day you work for a year, and you are not required to clock out during that break, then by the end of the year, you will have been paid a full week’s pay just to #2.

Someone else pointed it out, but the cost of commuting likely exceeded all of those things. I’ve been working from home since March and I’m absolutely loving it. At this particular moment I’m working from my family’s summer property out in the country. I’m currently experiencing a “temporary” 20% pay deferment. This

My question would be how much does the company reimburse for working from home? Lights, data, electricity, Internet...all cost money and would be something people would need to be reimbursed for. the streaming of the snoop camera alone would eat up a lot of bandwidth I bet.

The last thing the world needs is millions of people driving alone in their cars to go to work when they could be manipulating spreadsheets and taking calls from their toilet.

Neutral: It isn’t about working from home that has me insane. As soon as I (and 350 million other people) finish their garage gym, I’m good.

What I miss are the people. I miss them before and after work. I am a little anxious about completely altering my world now that I am half done with life.

I will be fine with it

Yep, It’s looking like a pattern from the “fiscal conservative” team.

*Hurricane Season has entered the chat*

Yep. The Trump administration did everything possible to stave off the recession until after the election.

I fear for mine and my family’s health.

I am telling all my co-workers to take this time to prep, because Lockdown2 - Electric Boogaloo is gonna be tough. TX/FL as examples will not shut down again until the hospitals are overflowing, and by then it will be far too late. Just look at the state by state # of new infections by day and it is clear whats

I’ll take that bet. I don’t think we see another lockdown. It seems most people would rather see thousands die than not be able to get a shitty steak from a chain restaurant somewhere.

I’m sure a $2 trillion handout with absolutely no oversight to a few rich elite will trickle down somehow!

Everything is reopening way too fucking soon. LA had 1200 new cases in one day over the weekend. If I were a betting man, I’d bet were going to see another full lockdown again. I seem to be in the minority now when it comes to wearing a mask.

These people said that the economy peaked in February which was before a lot of the lockdowns started in the US.  I imagine some of that was due to what was happening in Asia at the time.  The longer the pandemic goes on, the worse the recession will be.  Despite his claims, I think Trump is only going to make both

My guess is they will be parroting something like “it’s because the dem governors shut things down and the rioters destroyed businesses, so they’re forced to help/save everyone” or similar. 100% focus on shutdowns and “riots/looters”, 0% on the cause of those 2.
