Oh my goodness, he's got a little bow tie on. Who's a good boy, eh? Whosagooboi?

From Kirk's eulogy for Spock: "Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human"
Most people think it's about Kirk and Spock. They are wrong. Without Bones (who is just as much Kirk's BFF as Spock) the whole thing crumbles.
I feel that there is no reason for further discussion.
To add insult to injury, the captain of the Indianapolis was later court-martialed for allegedly not taking evasive maneuvers to avoid submarines, and the Japanese sub skipper was called as a witness against him. The American captain eventually killed himself.
I'd say even as far back as 84. I just can't get into the whole period of time that is Doctors 6 - 8. Basically, classic-Who for me ends with Caves of Androzani.
Avatar sticks out like a sore thumb. I would lie if I said I didn't like it but to compare it's impact on culture to those of Akira or Matrix...
Where is the graph for the 30 million civilians slaughtered while `liberating' them in what they called the Greater East-Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere from colonial rule?
What no BSG?! the scene where Dee kills herself after having her last date with Apollo while she still had a happy thought in her head just, excuse me, I need to go hug my dogs.
The last scene of The Doctor's Wife.
As I sat in the theater all I could think was "no..."
While watching Star Trek into darkness I started to get choked up because I couldn't believe that I was watching something that was done before...but this time it was horrible and tacky.
What about that terribly sad moment in Return of the Jedi when the first ewok showed up and ruined everything?
I'm not often one for emotional episodes of Doctor Who (I like them, I just prefer the wacky scifi episodes), but Vincent and the Doctor is one of my all time favourite episodes.
I think I would also include DS9's "The Visitor" as well. To me, this was just as touching (if not more so) as "Inner Light"
For me is this scene from The X-Files when Mulder finally finds out her sister wasn't abducted by aliens but killed and finds her in a mass grave.
