Who’s slicing space onions?

You know how if you’ve got a friend visiting and you know NYC, you’d steer them away from eating or shopping near Times Square? How it’s really only worth visiting to see it as a whole, but everything there is too generic and tourist-scam-y compared to the surrounding city? And how locals would straight-up mock you…
I find almost nothing is improved by being taken from a less restricted form (like animation) to a more realistic/constrained format. Especially when it’s being done by top-tier professionals in its current format.
The only way I usually see animated stuff improve with live actors is when it’s re-written to be an…
More likely, Blizzard has been considering making a TV series or similar about Diablo and wants to keep the road clear for that.
There’s a much-misused saying: “The customer is always right.”
FWIW this isn’t exactly a crazy routine. It’s like mid-level strength training. The only issue is that it could use a pulling exercise (like pull-ups) to balance it out a bit.
And you will see some fat loss if you start doing strength training without changing your diet, assuming you were maintaining beforehand. All…
I agree completely, except I think the word “anime” is unnecessary in that sentence.
Holy crap, that’s a brilliant marketing move. Usually they’re just side-stories, but if you have to watch the movie to continue following the show that’s gonna put butts in seats.
The R-rating is to protect children from being exposed to Dorito™ Samurai. That level of irritating cringe is medically inadvisable for minors.
I don’t think it’s really all that unique. Just very competently made action comedy. It has a strong visual style, decent writing, some good comedy, and solid action stuff in a year when people are bored and sad. Not surprised it had a solid release.
Unfortunately it also has Dorito Samurai™ who is quite possibly the…
I did some quick research on it, and it appears to be a specific combination of gameplay and controls. From a similar (possibly related?) study:
Well in my experience, a person who abuses their authority loses their authority, and has to go back to being a worker instead of a leader.
Former environment artist here: probably just as a backup in case the physics goes stupid.
“We’ve listened to the fans, and from now on Nuzlocke rules are the only way to play Pokemon. You’re welcome!”
I think you hit on the real one. Blade just wasn’t a widely-known comic when the film came out, at least among my social circle. Me and my friends were casual comic people at best, so we always talked about it as being a vampire movie, or one of the first good modern fantasy films. It wasn’t that we didn’t think it…
Agreed. The Nazis had a huge propaganda machine that churned out tons of content. They’re kind of famous for it.
Yes, but the hostage taking is the point.
Honestly I’ll say It’s pretty decent as a time-killer. The gameplay mechanics are pretty solid, good enough that I wish they weren’t bundled with the Gatcha mechanics and I could just buy the freaking game.
Yeah that’s how I always heard it as a kid. It’s just fake Italian-y sounds—which is problematic in its own way—but I never got why people wanted to find something nefarious when it’s such an obvious extension of the character’s speech quirks.
I’ve been gaming since Yar’s Revenge came out on home console (Even owned a copy of E.T. for the 2600), and the first game I ever intentionally platinum’d was Ghosts of Tsushima because the goals were reasonable.
