No No no, silly. Only Christians are allowed to make other people follow their religious edicts, duh. Those laws are righteous according to our Christian nation and Christianity-based Constitution that allows Christians to run everyone else’s life. When maybe-possibly-Muslim-sounding people do it to Christians, it’s

A few Sunday’s ago I decided to make a trip to the store since all the churchies were otherwise occupied and I figured it would be an easy trip. I get to the check out at 11:45 and am reminded that I can’t buy beer before noon. It is 2000 fucking 15! This bullshit needs to stop. But I was not going to hang around for

It was Adam. Adam’s married to Steve.

“And on the seventh day, God said let there be vodka, with tomato juice to go along with it”

They certainly are being persecuted. One time a lady at Target told them “happy holidays” instead of “merry christmas” and it was EXACTLY like when Paul got beheaded in Rome.

So, just to be clear here - Allen West thinks that a Christian shouldn’t have to make a cake for a gay wedding, but that a Muslim person should absolutely be required to serve him alcohol? Ah, I see the standard of hypocrisy is low these days.

You can’t buy hard liquor in Texas on Sundays? If there was any place where I would need a good stiff drink, it is Texas.

I think the guy got in trouble for something else. Like maybe he didn’t apply for paternity leave and just didn’t show up for work. Or maybe he tried to turn his 1 day off into 3+. It might have been around the guys child being born but was less to do with the event and more to do with someone breaking a rule or

I WAS BEING SARCASTIC YOU KNOW I WOULD NEVER WILLINGLY DEPRIVE YOU OF MIMOSAS IN THE MORNING

Why aren’t they allowed to ring it up though? I mean, what do they think is going to happen, the cashier is going to drink the booze rather than ring it up for the customer? America’s drinking age and alcohol laws both amuse and frustrate in their ridiculousness.

KOSHER DILL PICKLES!! CHRISTIAN OPPRESSION IS EVERYWHERE!!!

And here, I was thinking it would be Blue Laws aka Christian Sharia preventing the sale:

Or pizza joints refusing to serve gay people.

Why do *you* want the aneurysm? West is the one who deserves it.

LOL @ the idea Wal-Mart would cave to any sort of law other than the law of making $$$$$.

Well, West definitely gets this week’s The Thing I Complained About is 100% False, but Since It Could Have Been True, I’m Going to Act Like It Is True Award.

+1

Yeah, because that would really suck if some random’s cashier/clerk/employee’s religious beliefs impeded your ability to make purchasing decisions for your body.

I pointed the sign out to Aubrey and her response was a simple question, how is it that this Muslim employee could refuse service to customers based on his religious beliefs, but Christians are being forced to participate in specific events contrary to their religious beliefs?

Yes, what is this world coming to when employees can refuse service to customers simply based on their own religious beliefs? I’m assuming, of course, that next he’s going to go after the pharmacists and pharmacy techs who refuse to supply customers with birth control and Plan B. Right? Riiiiight?
