Oh, that crazy Clare music made me so mad! She seems far from the wackiest nut in that can.

Thank you for putting into words what I couldn't.
I have never had a dog who loves water. I was shocked when I found out some dogs will willingly (gleefully) go into it!
I kinda do too. Logically it doesn't make sense, but still...
As another old, that was my first thought as well. In so many ways we are more prudish today than in the 70's.
My ex had longish hair and we both got catcalled one time - it was quite an eye-opening experience for him. It was just another day for me.
There's a vast difference between loving and respecting women. "I love all women!" always puts me on misogyny-alert.
Are you still tall? I maxed out at 11 yo, and have finally become the shorty in the crowd. (I prefer being tall)
Were you tortured for it? (as a girl, it was not considered cool to be taller than all the boys in school, but I stopped growing in 4th grade, which left me at 5'3" - but I still think of myself as bigger than everyone else)
I am covered with freckles, and I was tortured as a child (I also happened to be the biggest kid in the class, have red hair and glasses, and was a completely awkward)!
I've said it about red hair, nerd glasses, and now freckles - if you didn't have to grow up with the torture of these attributes, you have no right enjoying the rewards!
He is, thanks!
I have a straight (not that it matters!) son who has always loved shopping, and dressing up and putting on makeup when he was younger (he still may, but he's an adult now and we don't discuss that).
I feel like this comment has been way overthought by some posters.
My interpretation - kind of like a bumpkin (USA) but in Australia or NZ.
That was one of my favorite phrases when I was young! (pre-internet) It just rolls off the tongue.
Congratulations!
Portland Oregon. P-town. Stump Town. Bike City. Dog City. Now with a cat cafe and a the ultimate cat playground.
I guess it depends on who you know. And my garden is practically dead from the abundant heat and sunshine. We need rain!
I live in Portland, and I had a lot of respect for Carrie, but Portlandia and FA have made me lose it all.
