This reminds me of a joke I heard earlier today. I suck at joke-telling, so I'll go straight to the punchline.

I was always aware, but somehow being the last person standing while the pained expressions on the team's captain face could really get to me.

Not sure how old you are, but participation rewards were definitely not part of my childhood. I sucked at sports, and nobody ever sugarcoated that for me. I was always the last one picked for sports in gym (do they still subject kids to that cruelty?).

Both my boys and my nieces definitely won those ships on a stick - fair and square! (actually they did, and there are some pretty funny stories to go along with that)

You think they choose to be this way? Why would anyone make that choice?!? I guess I can see why you think they're evil if you believe they choose their sexuality, I just happen to completely disagree with that statement.

Sorry, I know you said it in your first post, but I hadn't made the distinction between the linked article and what is posted here.

I'm saying that people who are born that way and seek help in order to not act on their urges are not evil, and deserve our empathy and support, not hatred and judgment.
