I’ve driven a 1st gen one, that felt kinda cushy but in a German sort of way, and the latest one, which is actually really well done. I prefer them as rentals if they are on the lot.

As an e-tron owner, I can vouch for the real road trip range they got. However, this isn’t a test of efficiency -- it’s a test of the EPA validity, and it’s clear Tesla is pulling some shenanigans with their EPA rating. VW AG with the Taycan and the e-tron seem to test much more conservatively, thus the real range is…
I filed electronically on June 4, with direct deposit specified but my return is still “processing”. It’s more complicated as I have business income from partnerships. I called around July 10 and the person on the other line said it won’t be processed until at least August 1.
I think it’s a lot of luxury car for not much money, even at MSRP.
CP... You can get a Fiat 500e for just a little more.
It sounds to me like Sherry doesn’t have wifi in the home? Trying to get by on VZW Cellular only? Anyways, I know at my office, I get band 13 only with 2 bars or less and my data speeds are terrible. Luckily, office wifi is fine so I don’t bother with cell data there, but that’s a possibility...
If I’m reading the ticket right, he got off with an infraction... How in the heck is this not misdemeanor reckless driving??
Cancelled an Alaska cruise in June, but I’m converting it into a Canadian Rockies road trip plus Denali in Alaska... Basically, we keep our flights and work around it.
Source? I’m pretty sure that your driving privileges are safe interstate and globally with a regular non-Real ID DL. Real-ID is used to gain entrance to secure federal facilities, such as airports.
Chevron and Arco stations here in Southern California have tap terminals that work with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap-able cards. Also, Shell and Exxon/Mobil have apps where you can authorize payment on the app and type a code on the screen of the pump. So no need to swipe at the pump, and no need to pay inside…
There are plenty of 997s out there in the 30s... 996s are in the 20s... Those are “real” Porsches right?
I think 2001-era Champ Cars did indeed have sequential stick shifters with an actual clutch pedal, but the clutch was never used during driving, just for starts?
If you’re flying basic economy, I like to wait until the last possible minute to check in so everyone else can be assigned those wonderful middle seats. ;)
What about a Turbo Porsche non-Turbo? Those exist too....
Hah! Good luck installing a modern rear-facing car seat in any 911! I’d put my money on a F10 M5 or F80 M3 for that cash... Or a used Panamera turbo (the ugly one)
Yup, me too. From Phoenix to LA, and for work stuff, so no scary narrow residential streets. Every pit stop required a plan though for navigating small parking lots!
Not the same thing but I took the standby seat of a disgruntled girlfriend who’s boyfriend was late for the flight last night.... She wasn’t happy for 5 hours -- and I had lots of entertainment so I didn’t need to bother with her
The easiest answer I give to anyone who asks this is pop open the lid/screen and replace your boot drive with a large SATA SSD. Then restore from Time Machine. That’s the best upgrade for any modern Intel Mac out there. If you’re using a PowerPC Mac ... Well ......
More like 2009... Sounds like a basic battery-storage KERS system...
