I caught this with the boy today and really enjoyed it. A great play on the "believe in Santa" trope. I found myself very invested in the characters, and was sad when one had to go away for a while.

Yeah. That's my vote, too. My all time favorite episode of that show - the battle mecha angle was incredibly well done.

Great advice! My wife works as an emergency vet and sees the results of people who don't think ahead for their pets. It's not something one usually thinks about, but when the time comes, it does get crazy expensive.

I agree. There were some good references to horror movies, but they were lost in a mess of a movie without a real heart. Padding, to be sure. It was very boring to me and I thought about leaving, but my son seemed pretty intent. A forgettable movie.

I found the stop-motion pretty pedestrian. I wasn't too impressed, especially after ParaNorman.

Naw, I loved it. My wife loved it. I thought it was very well done and exciting.

Ah, you see, number five wouldn't work because Rory left his cell phone charger back in Henry VIII's castle. That was a clever bit of foreshadowing there.

I was going to mention this as well. The Moon was treated very poorly in the Tick universe, and it was quite excellent they kept it up throughout the series.

Great in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as well - he is completely underused in dramatic roles.

Yeah. I had a buddy who would make and sell them at art fairs for a crazy mark-up. His were a little more finessed, but still.

YEAH!!!!! The Doctor's Wife was my favorite episode forever. So well done.

I liked this opener fairly well, but it raised a lot of questions - particularly about Oswin as the next companion. That's going to be depressing if he picks her up and still has her attend to her fate of becoming a Dalek. I thought the "reconciling" of the Ponds was a bit tacked on as well - not really sure they

I saw this last night - it was really well done. Very funny - my wife and I laughed at all the jokes. I would happily watch it again - I really loved Neil the friend, and he reminded me of "Fat Neil" from Community. I'm sure production on this started before he showed up on TV, but I'll still accept it as an homage

I have a hard time with violence in my comedies - example here, the heart being punched through the chest. Maybe in context within the movie its funny? i don't know. I'm a prude.

Pfah. Not good - GREAT!

Gosh, it's so great to BE AMERICAN, isn't it? You being American and all, I thought we could share our moon landings and coca-colas and other American things.

The baseball stadium was vacant because they built a new one.

God, Young Justice is so well-done. I really dig how he's streamlined the universe so well with so many nods to many, many continuities and stories. Of course, it's not JUST him, but I love his writing, so I'll give him lots of credit.

I didn't know about the S/WW/B dying thing - I think that's actually pretty clever. I will miss the old "old" JSA though.

Please have all of my money.
