Tech that doesn't exist? I can store that hydrogen with a balloon and a Corona bottle.

The pilot establishes her as NYPD, I'm pretty sure. I don't know if it changed with the full series, but I'm pretty sure she's NYPD.

Ah, that makes more sense (in the TV universe). Thanks.

Last week, I enjoyed the pilot. This week, I really enjoyed the show. You've hit on all the strengths, Ms. Newitz.

The white hat. She's an NYPD officer investigating a string of murders perpetrated by the protagonist. Of course, all the murders are him dispatching bad guys.

Well, sure Tim Curry's Inspector Five was seminal, but his transfiguration from number four was very unconvincing. The Inspector poisoned by a deviled egg? I expected a better send off.

As far as AD goes, we got three really amazing seasons. Who knows what might have happened? Personally, I think it would have burned out and we'd be bemoaning another show that lost its way.

I really really really really hope the heist involved theft of the moon itself.

It depends on the artist. Sometimes, he'll have them.

@Joel Williams

I love Big Bang. Not a fan of Priya, to be honest.

There's a couple of good episodes that first season, and it really gets better the second half. Season two kind of has the same problem - slow at first but picks up the second half. Season three is solid.

"(Was anybody else a bit miffed, though, that the Doctor's big revelation comes along with suddenly calling Amy "Amy Williams", as if he's finally transferring ownership of her from himself to Rory? Or saying that she should become her own person, by becoming an extension of Rory? It was an odd choice.)"

Some of the deleted scenes really just make me miss a better prequel series.

I really hope they name it Tatooine. Sure, it'd be silly. But still.

Is this BBC only? Or is it on in the states, too?

Last Exorcism 2: Hellfire Boogaloo?

DANG! Now, I'm thinking of a Sith ending wherein Anakin loses his own robot hand and maybe a foot or something. It would be way better that way.

Yeah. New Hope has the ObiWan line "he's more machine than man, now." I was anticipating a longer transition.

The ROTJ saber fight has so much tension to it. There's none of that in the prequels, really. Despite the lack of insane acrobatics, ROTJ really builds up to the hand-slicing, and it has some real weight, I agree.
