Oh, that one is pretty funny.

"It was the darkest of times, call it the stormiest of Ishmaels."

The Rock was a pretty solid action picture. I agree with your assessment.

I really liked MI3, so I'm pretty excited for this. Actually, I've enjoyed all of them, though I find #2 the low point. I love Brad Bird. I do wish the MI movies would find more of an ensemble feel, but whatevs. I enjoy Cruise the movie star. Sure, he typically plays the same dude in every movie, but there's

Fringe: I think it would be sweet if Higgins turned out to be the anti-Weiss, like, Weiss was lying about the father-son thing and they're really two immortals using the universes as playthings.

I know it's FlashPoint, so it's all sorts of crazy, but the Green Arrow with an assault rifle is really stupid. I'm also not a fan of this Smallville-esque costume. They can defend it all they want as a riff on the Longbow Hunters costume, but that costume actually looked good. Sunglasses and hoodies? C'mon.

Beer? Science? This article has everything I like. I move we have a beer article every Friday (I am not greedy)

Plus, you know, nazis.

This definitely pegs it. It'll be refreshing to see a hero like Steve Rogers who has the best intentions and acts on them. I hope the movie offers a little more meat on the "serving your country" bit, like maybe he knows how awful the Axis is and wants to help stop that. The nationalistic vibe of Captain America is

If only they offered mustache augmentation.

I agree. He's got some range, I think. He's definitely conveying real worry and humility in the bits in the trailer - you got none of that in FF. I was dubious when I heard the casting, but I think this picture is going to surprise us.

I hope we find there's more to Steve's 4-F than just his size, then. I'm sure your Grandfather probably caught a lot of flak for his size and it's pretty awesome he wouldn't put up with that garbage.

I was a bit underwhelmed overall, but still enjoyed these. Benderama was the stronger of the two, I felt. Neutopia suffered from treading far too much familiar ground. We've seen the sexist come-uppances on Futurama plenty of times before, and this didn't bring much new to the table. I also thought it took to long

Alas, Freeman would be cast as Uncle Owen. Poor bastard.

I really enjoyed the movie. Some stuff I could have done without (the romance) but overall, I laughed quite a bit and thought the casting was spot-on. I even liked Deschanel as Trillian, and I get lots of complaints about that.

I understand Benedict Cumberbatch will be voicing Smaug.

I would... watch this. Every day.

This was a pretty swell list. Usually, the "things you didn't know about Star Wars" lists are full of the same old thing, but most of this is new to me!

I wish this was true, but the need has been created with urban sprawling towns :(

That's a pretty good point.
