I mean i question the future of Tesla in general.  They have an aging product line, with designs based on things thought up well over a decade ago.  Musk has made the brand toxic to the college educated crowd...who tend to live in areas with actual charging stations.  Sure there are some country club republican types

Count me as part of the minority who never played.

Imagine you have $120k to blow on a car. And instead of buying a Range Rover, X7, Escalade, GLS or QX80 you say “yep, I’ll buy a tuna can on wheels”.

There were several episodes where freiburger stated that their cars weren't registered. Recent one that comes to mind is the 440 samurai.

They didn’t.

Friendly neighborhood IP attorney here - Ford files for design patent protection of different aspects of their vehicle design frequently. For example, their most recently issued design patent is for a lower grille that looks like the grille on the current gen mustang. Also, they won a decision against the Automotive

You could have had a high speed train with a throughput of thousands of passengers per hour, travelling in comfort at 200 mph.

Yeah, I’m from north of there and not sure how many shoot-outs the Ukiah PD has been involved in in recent years.

Also, headline might also read: “Small sedan with small back seat cannot easily haul suspected criminals in custody because it has a small back seat.

Makes me wonder too how the department pays for fuel.

Car Wizard IMHO has one of the better car channels out there and he really knows his stuff... which makes me question what the issue with the carb is. I would want to know what that issue is and how difficult it is to get either a new one or parts to fix the old one. If it was something that he ran into as a problem

No Dice here. If it’s being sold by an actual shop that does repair work then fix the carb.

You Elon Musk groupies are so fucking weird. Elon IS a grifter. Nothing he has done has been due to his supposed “genius” from a scientific perspective. The man doesn’t actually understand science. He’s a shrewd businessman who knows how to buy companies and hire the right people. I’ll give him the credit for that.

I remember when the G35s were a fresh alternative to BMWs and then the G37 came out and how gorgeous it was alongside the 350z, four to-five years of depreciation went by and it all went to shit.

I live in sf. My g37 has been stolen twice this summer. It was recovered with minimal damage each time thankfully. Every time it showed up in Antioch. I’ve had to get rid of the car because there’s just no good way to prevent at least the attempted thefts even if you add a kill switch or other stuff like that. I live

A deceptive Tesla stunt? Never.

At this point, you’re a complete fool if you believe a word that man says.

And unlike any gas car, you can plug your Bolt into any wall outlet in america in a pinch with the included charger and fucking live in it. It’s small, but beats sleeping on a gym floor with 100 other people.

THIS!

If you can’t refuel your gasoline powered car because the station is closed, you’re not going to have a long range either.

Absolutely.  The car in the bottom image is definitively a Jaguar.  The one at the top looks like any random Buick or Lincoln.  No character whatsoever.

Any model that was redesigned in the 1970s, but specifically the Mercury Cougar. Take your pick; each generation is worse than the last, but the one that “ruined” the car was the 4th. And it never really got better.
