Visibility is one thing I really like my ‘13 Fit Sport for; the rear headrests fold down out of the way and the greenhouse is tall and upright. It’s not as good as my 1991 Civic wagon was - the very low dash on that car was excellent - but for a new car it’s pretty good.

Do you rent or buy? Serious question.

Yep, the 4.0 jeeps that came through my shop weren’t very reliable. Blown head gaskets, thrown rods, and every one had multiple electrical issues, even fairly new ones.

Hey, you want HOA rules, so you moved to a HOA property. That’s awesome, go you. I would *never*, ever live in a place with HOA rules, because I have motorcycles, cars and a race car hauler. That’s why I live where I do, and probably why the guy with the trailer lives where he does. As long as he is following the law,

You know what happens at those places? Your trailer gets broken into and your shit gets stolen. Which is why I buy houses in places without HOAs and restrictive zoning - specifically so that I can keep my stuff at home, not at a place 45 minutes away, to pay $140/month for the privilege of some meth head doing $800 in

None of that matters one bit as long as the guy is obeying the law. The other people knew the rules when they moved in, or should have known if this sort of completely reasonable usage offends their delicate feefees. This is why some places have HOAs - for people who think that *not* seeing this kind of thing is

Nope. They knew the laws when they moved in. As long as that owner is fully obeying the law, it’s his right to do what he wants with his property.

Exactly. People who really don’t want to see trailers, or pink houses, or people working on stuff should live where there’s a HOA with rules they agree with. There’s plenty of them. Otherwise, they knew the laws when they moved in, and as long as their neighbor isn’t breaking any laws they can go pound sand.

Still ridiculous. I bought my place specifically because it didn’t have a HOA, in an area where zoning permitted me to park all my vehicles in my lot, including a race car hauler. So all my stuff can be in the same place, legally, without paying for storage. Those neighbors can get bent.

Ridiculous. Having a clean, registered, legal trailer in your driveway is not the same as neglecting maintenance on your property.

Read what I wrote: what usually ends the scam - meaning what gets the shop caught. I have 20 years of looking at fake stickers from three states, two of which I’m licensed in, and I’ve been an expert witness in several court cases brought against used car dealerships for defective work and fraudulent stickers. The fly

Yup. They’re underpowered, but light and handle like go-karts. A 5 speed is essential. Amazing amount of room inside, and very reliable. The center mount instruments are annoying and as noted, the outer plastics usually take a beating. It’s really rare to find one in nice shape now - this one is probably nice because

since you’re being willfully obtuse:

Since we’re headed off track - do you think we’re electing a president, or Mother Theresa?

I see you can’t address the point. Noted.

If it’s like the power wagon, the winch goes where the diesel inter cooler is, so you get a diesel option or a winch but not both.

When you can kill 10 people in 12 seconds from 20 feet away with a 2x4, you’ll have a point. Try harder.

GM put a pedestrian warning tone generator on the EV1 for exactly this problem 20 years ago, before cellphones were widespread and before smartphones existed. When I drove it around town in Spring Hill, people would walk right in front of it otherwise. And yes, above 25mph or so it happened a lot less often.
