Shhh... don’t bring up Honda. They are non-union and dont have all the issues (lay offs, plant closures, etc.) that the big three and their UAW shops do.

Free market capitalists give few shits for where things are made. Many people on the right are free market capitalists. Trumps nationalistic economic model is a traditionally left idea. You just cant tell because the current Democrat party abandoned that and wants to be full blown socialist now. He was a popular Democr

There’s only one way manufacturers are going to build more cars in the US, and that’s when consumers make a concerted effort to purchase US-made cars; You can’t have it six ways from Sunday (I’m definitely looking at you, Trumpers and Bernie supporters who have their stickers all over your foreign cars).

You know, the safety cage thing. The closest thing to that today is the new Volvo V60 wagon.

Poor financial choice, yes. But hey there hot stuff.

Joule thief!

Have they mentioned what the annual fee will be to unlock the shifter?  Can I pay a flat rate at purchase to keep the shifter unlocked?

Tell that to Adobe and pretty much every modern videogame publisher. Gating access to mundane previously free shit behind a paywall is the floor of the new gilded age.

The new 911 is fucked.

Before the “Blazer” badge ever adorned the SUV variant of the Chevy S-10 or the new crossover that everyone’s so disappointed by these days, it graced the sheetmetal of the boxy Chevy K Series. The yellow 1979 two-tone one above is drop-dead gorgeous.

Dealer lots are an American invention, we want to see every single color

I think it’s fine to have dealerships. However, we shouldn’t have legislation that disallows competing sales models, but many states do.

Having formerly owned a 2004 Touareg, I can say that this post is spot-on. Although I picked mine up used for a reasonable price, simple-things like doing a break-job were just ridiculous. The VW dealership wanted $1500 for a brake job. Why so-crazy you ask? Because it had the same brembo brakes as its big-brother

So here’s my Perot story:

“But if people quit buying your cars because of the perception of cheapness or lack of durability, then how many millions are you losing there?”

Damn traders and their focus on quarterly profits instead of longevity.

“He said, ‘Ross, the problem is, some accountant at General Motors is probably saving 3 cents a gasket.’”

I take a hell of a lot more personal offense to slobs that show up to fly like they’re going to a slumber party than I ever possible could take offense to what this woman was wearing.

It’s close to downtown Nashville which has pretty much all of that. NYC isn't the only place that has good food and things to do.

As a project manager in the regulatory affairs department of a major California water company, it is my professional opinion that you’re deflecting. I have more reason than most to believe that environmental regulation is arbitrary as every county I have a project in has their own definition of due diligence.
