Harley really made some bad long term decisions when they got rid of MV Agusta and Buell.

I really want the Turismo Veloce. Been eyeing since they released it. I like they have put a fancy Rekluse clutch on it. You don’t need the clutch at a stop. Just twist and go and then you quick shift up and down.
That is heartbreaking. I’m Morehouse class of 1996. Wife is Spelman 1998. I think tuition was around $14k when I attended. Fortunately, I made it out with a reasonable amount of debt and great job.
Seems like a pretty accurate comparison to me...
The reason cars changing lanes doesn’t get them there any faster is also the reason zipper lanes don’t work...
In Chicago, we have the worst lane changers. It isn’t even on the highway, but just on city streets.
The bigger issue for me is people not turning their lights on. We get the guy driving around with DRL not realizing he doesn’t have his headlights on and his rear is pitch black. No amount of flashing these people seem to wake them up.
It is fully self-driving, but you are also expected to be paying attention and monitoring at all times, not watching movies, texting, etc.
I can see how “Auto Pilot” could be misleading. However, at the same time, I think it is getting ridiculous that companies are being held liable for people being stupid.
The dealership model, much like the taxi industry thrives on regulatory protection from competition. There is no reason that manufacturers should not be able to sell direct if that is the model they want to choose.
People do this in the mortgage market. We call it buy and bail. Borrowers would qualify for a new house by telling the lender they were going to rent the old house (get a fake lease from office depot to show rental income). Then once they buy the new house, they let the old house go into foreclosure.
Looks like a great commuter. I wish it was around when I was commuting by motorcycle. They finally are making attractive bikes.
Yup, that is exactly who drives them around here. Very popular with black folks. They deck them out with neon lights and super loud stereo systems. Kind of like the chopped Harley set with the retarded 26 in front wheel. They just scream look at me. I’m sure they are fun to drive, but they are the quintessential…
One of the only times I felt I was going to have a Falling Down moment and go into full on road rage on someone was this exact scenario. I am pulling into the spot and some chick decides she is going to just drive through. Instead of stopping, reversing and being polite, she decides that is just too inconvenient…
Maybe it just takes redefining what an F1 race should be in terms of length and even pitstops.
While I know some people have an illogical range anxiety issue, what are the odds that anyone that buys this car is actually going to drive it 200 miles?
I had a Infiniti QX50 rental over the Thanksgiving holiday. I got to say I was disappointed in the car. There is no way they will be a legit upmarket competitor if that is the best they can do.
I don’t think these are a substitution product. The people buying these are not buying jeeps to use in the same manner. This is a hardcore “jeep” that is meant to be beat to a pulp and not road legal. Jeep doesn’t really serve that market directly. No one buys a brand new $50k Rubicon to go trashing it out in the…
To be honest, there isn’t a huge gap in terms of quality/premium feel in most cars these days. Especially when you look at the 3 series, C class, etc compared to Acuras, Mazda, Lexus, etc. At least not a gap that can be justified in the pricing difference imho. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit and the interior…
I don’t disagree. However, they both appear to have some sort of claim to the design so Mahindra probably didn’t feel they were infringing. I just think the IP of the issue is in a very gray area and that both companies could benefit if they just worked together.
