That’s not lane splitting, that’s Jackassery.
That’s not lane splitting, that’s Jackassery.
Those riders are going way too fast for the conditions. There is a time and a place for lane splitting, and these are the guidelines from the CA CHP. I do not mind when riders are splitting during crawling/stop and go traffic. The 10mph differential is plenty to keep them moving and not be in any real danger.
Just the other day I had to move, quickly, out of the way to avoid being rear ended at a light. Would have pancaked me between the two cars if I wasn’t paying attention. I always pull up and slightly angle my bike towards the left, so if I need to make a quick maneuver, I’m already lined up and ready to go, without…
It’s almost like the people in charge of NYC DOT don’t ride motorcycles.
A motorcycle safety campaign from the New York City Department of Transportation tells riders to “stay in middle of travel lane,” which would’ve ended poorly in this situation.
I love the lack of any reaction from the pedestrian standing on the corner. Not that I’m surprised seeing as this is such a common thing.
Usually it has to do with one of the tires PSI being off from the other. Even as little as a 1.5PSI differential can cause a dramatic crash such as this! It’s wise to invest in a high quality and accurate digital pressure gauge so this never happens.
Oh, you mean GoDaddy and trying to renew/buy a domain?
This sounds like any microsoft application.
I have no idea about your history or experience, but based on your question and general demeanour I’d spend a few bucks on racing school first.
People that go out and buy new phones are only doing it so people see them with it. Just like most people with their new car purchases.
My immediate thought was this or the R8 V10.
$200k to spend and you’re asking for advice? He doesn’t have a pretty solid opinion of what he wants, or does he simply want to tell someone he has $200k to blow to gloat?
That’s why automakers have no business making software. Let Google and Apple do what they do best. Everyone who’s used carplay or android auto seems to love them.
Makes perfect sense and this trend has been underway for a while. You can also see a major convergence between new & used car prices lately (ie, less depreciation). The biggest headwind to carmakers doing well is....their cars don’t break as much.
This one is easy. Cars are lasting longer, and more expensive to buy, so people buy less often. Unless you absolutely have to have the newest safety features, a 10 year old car is going to have the same features as a brand new car.
“Repaired cheaply”
It’s pointless. Even driving halfway across the country I couldn’t go more than five minutes without having to adjust my speed for other drivers.
While I like there being a few DIYer and backyard mechanics as writers on these blogs, I don’t think every one has to be, in fact I kind of prefer it. What is important to me is that the writers on these car blogs like the quirky, funky, and interesting cars and can give a unique take on them.
What I really want to…
