That may happen in the short term. However, in the long term, US Steel manufacturers will compete with each other and lower prices. If US Steel Co A and US Steel Co B are both charging $39 AND also profitable doing so, eventually one of them will drop to $38 to steal share from the other. Then the other will go to $37

Great reporting. However, if you restrict rates, then no one will lender to these high risk borrowers. Given the rates, CAC charges, if the borrowers were good credit risks, someone would be undercutting them.

You can say the same thing about sports cars and other high performance vehicles. How many people track their cars? Not many. How many people really use sub 4 sec 0 to 60 times? Not many. How many people take their Range Rovers off road? Not many.

The few times I’ve driven in Houston I didn’t think the driver’s were that bad. They were no where near as aggressive as Chicago drivers (which is #1 as far as I am concerned). Chicago driver’s blatantly ignore the laws of the road. On any given day I see people driving in emergency lanes, cutting across traffic, turn

Altima and Maxima driver’s in Chicago are the worst.  A close second is Impala’s.  Then Chargers or Infiniti G35s.

I’m sure there is data showing that people with bad credit are also probably more likely to be bad drivers as a group. When I look back at my friends, the ones who were constantly getting in wrecks and who drove like complete idiots, all had bad credit to some degree. Their credit was in some ways a reflection of their

I had that Thunderbird when I was in college.  It was a pile of hot garbage.  Pure trash.  That car is the reason I generally hate American cars and will probably never own a Ford again.

Really surprised car companies haven’t jumped on the restomod craze like motorcycle companies. I bet Porsche could sell a bunch of stripped down 911s with old body style and updated engines. Bare minimum tech, just what is required by law (abs, airbags).  Offer them at a more reasonable price.. say $100k or less.

The 20% down payment is there to protect the bank, not the borrower.

If they had any marketing balls, they should do a minivan just for kicks...

+100. I have a 4 year and 1 year old. I drive a Grand Cherokee. Wife has a Lexus IS. The IS is way too small with two car seats in the back. I am 6ft and can barely fit in the car with the car seats. It is a pain even to bend down to get our 16 month old in her car seat.

Motorcycle riding in a urban environment aides in the development Jedi midi-chlorian. My ability to see further down the road and just anticipate what drivers will do is off the charts. In fact, I tell people all the time that if you want to make better drivers, force everyone to ride a motorcycle for a few months.

I’ve noticed that Altima and Maxima drivers do tend to be aggressive drivers along with the ubiquitous G30 sales bro.

There probably isn’t a whole lot they can do to make the course safer. 180mph and stonewalls, trees, curbs, cliffs, etc simply don’t mix.

I found racing RC Cars to be a good substitute for the real thing. It is actually quite hardcore... tuning engine performance, handling, tire selection, pit strategy, etc.

I think Harley hasn’t kept their bike line current with latest trends...

A lot of it is also cultural. Black folks tend not to negotiate as hard. Same with women. This is why when these studies are done there are often disparities. It isn’t necessarily discrimination.

I got 0% percent on a 60 month loan. I was going to pay cash or take a 3 year loan at most, but figured free money so why not?

In Chicago, the CUV in the right turn space would then rev and drag race off the light to go straight cutting off the car in the middle. This is what I am referring too...

It is usually one or two cars who do it. It is done so they don’t have to wait in the line. They even do it at stop signs. You can have a like three or four cars waiting in line at a stop sign. A Chicago driver will jump to the right to get to the front and then either not stop at all or roll through the stop sign to
